Katie was mulling around the cafe again after what she considered to be a travesty at the tournament. In the days after, she had spent much time there. She had talked to no one about it. Briefly, telling her mother about it was considered, but she knew that her mother would tell her father about what she had learned about her abilities, prompting Dr. Leiden to try and 'study' her again. Her eyes stared at her glass. She didn't want to be someone else's lab rat or weapon. No, she would work for herself. She would become strong.
Her gaze lifted to spot someone she didn't know walk into the cafe. Wait, no, she looked familiar to Katie. A little too familiar. A brief image of a wicked grin flashed in her mind and a shudder ran through her body as she remembered hitting the wall and going blank, dying in the simulation. She hated to admit it, but Felicity scared her. People who were stronger than her scared her. It always made her think over why they hadn't killed everyone yet if their gift was so strong. Although Katie wouldn't exactly kill everyone with her power once it was sufficiently honed, but she could think of a few people that had wronged her.
However, she attempted to hide that she had noticed Felicity.
