Running though the courtyard, a small four year old boy pranced around in the snow, his snow boots ever so slightly too big for his feet. grey earmuffs to keep his head a little warmer were surprisingly helpful and though at times they would slide off, he didn't mind having to adjust them. Although it'd only just snowed the night before, most of the white fluffy powder was packed down from students or the school's janitorial staff trying to plow some of the walkways. Having some of a child's mind, Chance didn't mind randomly taking a stroll in the freezing cold weather and for the most part, it didn't bother him, for he was mostly distracted with making snowballs to throw at statues or other things children did.
Being short with stubby legs and having on snow pants, a mini ski jacket, and big, clunky snow boots, he was unaware of a patch of icy snow ahead and before he could catch himself, he fell on his butt with a thud, pain shooting through his butt bone. Biting his lip, Chance rubbed his bottom, trying not to cry. Don't cry, don't cry, you're alright, he tried to reassure himself but the pain was too much. Starting to tear up, the Autumn started silently crying and attempted to rub away the cold tears that stung his pale face with his fleece mittens.
