A New Adventure

Sean pressed his cheek against the window of the car, exhausted. The flight took extremely long and he wasn't ready to start a whole other adventure. The wheels came to a stop as they pulled up next to the gates of the school. He got out and grabbed his backpack, tipping the taxi driver on his way out.
He passed under the gates and fiddled with the strings of his jacket. The fountain danced in the distance spouting blue water from the top. Sean preceded to walk down the path a bit nervously, the school was foreign and huge, there was no way he would be able to find his way. After a few paces he froze and looked around aimlessly, sure there was someone to help him, right?

It was a windy day above on the roof tops of huge buildings Harrison loved the rooftops of tall buildings because it would most of the time be quite and relaxing. As Harrison sat at the edge of the rooftops seeming like he would easily fall down to what would be a normal person’s death he had a calm look in his face while looking around. While admiring the view from the rooftop Harrison found out something somewhat bothered him, but he could not figure out what it was. Then it struck him, after realising what was wrong he had stood up on the roof top with the same calm face although this time there was a slight smile involved then he thought to himself “Well… I’m going to be late aren’t I?” After he had finished his thought he had jumped off the building to the direction of the new school where he would have had to go but lost track of time. He had calmed his thinking then through some thought had bended space and teleported himself closer to the school while maintaining a high altitude to avoid people and things. While flying through the air his calm smile had turned into a full smile and yelled “WOOOOO.”

After a few seconds of teleporting through the air he had seen the front of the new school he was going to ‘Beata Academy.’ Harrison admired the view from the fountain to the trees. Due to the fact he was admiring the scenery and teleporting to a lower altitude he had forgotten to look where he was going and had knocked into a random stranger nearby the entrance but due to the way Harrison traveled it was not something that you would normally go to the hospital for. After falling he had a look at the person he had knocked over. Harrison would have normally just avoided or payed attention so this would have never happened but everything had just looked well made. Just from looks he had noticed that he was smaller than him and had sort of felt bad for just bumping into him.  He then put his hand out and said ”Oh, sorry about that I wasn’t looking.”  A “Nicer” approach Harrison decided would be the best here since he didn’t know anyone and at the school he wanted to at least make a friend.

Sean re-slung his backpack over his shoulder, irritated it kept slipping down. So far the day was fairly nice, except for the breeze that passed through every once an a while. The boy took a deep breath in, enjoying the fresh air. He wiped the tiredness from his eyes as he continued to make his way down the path, the plane ride took a lot longer than expected with all the delays.

Another breeze of air blew Sean's hair into his eyes making him fix it once again. He was almost to the offices which had all the information he needed to get started at his new school. An unexpected body slammed against Sean causing him to fly into the grass. The blond turned his head with an angry look on his face, he was too tired for this. "Hey! Wat-" His sentence was stopped short when the boy began to apologize. "Tsk. It's fine." He normally wouldn't be so rude if it wasn't for his lack of sleep. Sean raised his hand up to meet with the other boys helping him up. Once standing the blond brushed the dirt off his jeans and pierced his blue eyes into the boy. "Where did you even come from?", he said raising his hand to cover his eyes from the sun as he looked in the sky.

“Ah-ah-ah-ah… the sky where else?” He had decided that he should try to cover up his power for a while so he had to lie “My gift is to fly.” Technically he wasn’t lying he could use his gift and fly. He then had a look at the guy he had knocked over again and really saw that he was really smaller than him. “Once again sorry about that I’m new here and the scenery caught my eye and lost focus.” Harrison had then looked around liked he was looking for something without giving the person he had knocked over to respond. Harrison then asked “Sorry about this but do you know where the office is?” Despite Harrison’s stubbornness he had asked where it is since he had accidentally left it on the roof of the building that he was on.

Sean picked up his backpack from the ground and dusted it off as well. Then putting it over both of his arms so nothing could push it off again. The boys response left Sean in wonder until he added what his power was. "Ah. Well I guess that's good we go to Beata now, to improve our powers." He put a silly smile on to show the boy he was joking, and to try to shake the annoyance away. Sean was about to continue his walk until the flying-boy asked him a question, "Yea. It's right along this path." he pointed to the building that was not to far away. "I was just heading over there myself, would you like me to take you?" he figured he could use a friend, so he wouldn't be so lonely coming new to Beata and all.

“Ha…Ha… yah” Harrison had seen that sincerity is the way he had said this and felt a bit more guilty since he could have completely avoided that if he noticed. After running after him and asking him about the office this person had answered my question and offered to guide me. “Sure” Harrison had responded to the offer this person. Harrison then started to walk towards the office with him. “Oh by the way I’m Harrison, Harrison Hammond” they were walking through to the office and he had noticed the design. This was his first time in Beata and he had heard the rumors about the school made for people with gifts but he had not really expected it to be like this. He then had a slight worry about accidentally breaking a wall or something if he ever goes above his limit. He had then turned his attention to the person who was walking with him.

The two boys walked down the path toward the offices doors, "I'm Sean,uh, Sean Bender. Nice to meet you Harrison." Sean leaped forward a little bit and swung the door open, he's never been inside the office building and was suprised when he entered. His blue eyes traced the elegant designs wondering how long it would take to build. Sean's attention was pulled back to Harrison when he noticed the boy was looking at him. His memory slipped and forgot he was escorting Harrison to the front office. "Oh, right. The office is right over here." he put on a friendly smile and raised his hand to the direction they needed to go.

'Sean Bender, huh.' Harrison had thought to himself 'What an odd name, then again I can't compare' After admiring the design for a second when he had turned to Sean he saw him also admire the design. 'Must be thinking the same thing I am' When they had gotten close he saw him raise his hand and say "Oh, the office is right here." Seeing him somewhat forget what he was doing made Harrison chuckle a little bit and said "Thank-you" He had said this in the same tone he had always talked to him. Harrison had mainly only one goal and strives to achieve that. While he is not heartless he does find talking in a certain manner like a 'Goody Two-Shoes' a bit annoying and prefer to talk in a more natural manner but most people just find that annoying. As he had entered the office he had that feeling come up again, a feeling that was addictive but private. Due to the fact that he knows absolutely no one here he had to suppress the feeling for the time being and do that later.

Sean followed close behind Harrison, he needed to get his papers as well. It would be nice to stay and help him just in case there was anything else the boy needed. Sean entered the room as well and waited his turn patiently. He was bored, for no reason exactly. Normally it was fun to meet new people, but the flight totally drained his energy. A yawn escaped as he leaned up against the wall, waiting for Harrison to make his move.

Since Sean had let him go first he had gone up to the office and got the paper work all set up. It wasn't really that much of a hassle since he already got most of the paper work done prior to being in beata. Harrison had seen that there was a forest out back and thought that would be a great place for him to satisfy his 'need' where no one would be around. After he had finished the thought he had looked backed to Sean who had a look of boredom? No, it was a look of fatigue although he had not seen it earlier it had seem that he had his luggage with him. Harrison looked at Sean and had said "Rough flight huh? Oh, I'm done by the way." With teleporting it really wasn't that much extra effort so he had gone to scope out the school without it first. After this was settled he planned to go to the forest.

Sean pushed himself off the wall and looked at Harrison who just finished gathering his papers, "Uh, yeah actually. Thanks, I'll make it fast." He was a bit confused as to how Harrison knew he had a flight, he probably had the musty plane smell radiating off of him, he also had his backpack on. Sean rushed up to the desk and picked up the few papers that the school required him to get so he could know his classes for the year. The blond flipped around and noticed the boy still there waiting for him. "Okay, I got them" He said gladly holding up the papers. "I can show you to the dorms too, if you want." Sean didn't mind there wasn't much he had going on, so he might as well show the new kid around.

Harrison had waited for him to finish up since he did let him go first Harrison thought it was only nice. He had then been offered to be shown the dorm which had gotten a thought in Harrison mind going. He had sent in the firm but he still did not know which of the four is he? After thinking over since he probably would not know today where he was placed. After thinking he had realized he had gotten lost in his thought, he then looked back and with the same smile he had when he first met he said "Sure, if you don't mind it." As much as he wanted to get in a isolated place he thought a tour of the dorms would probably be more useful for him to do right now.

Sean nodded, the boy probably didn't have a house picked out for him yet so it would be best to show him where to initiate dorms were and the house dorms after.  He beckoned Harrison to follow him as he pushed the door open for the both to exit. A small breeze hit them as they walked out to the sidewalk, it wasn't quite cold yet, but it was getting there. In attempt to not make the walk awkward Sean tried to strike up a conversation, "So, where are you from?" It probably wasn't the best question to start off with, but he didn't care.

Harrison had followed Sean outside after he had accepted to show him around the dorm. Harrison was admiring the design again since while he did try to finish fast it still did take a while. He had then been asked where was he from. He had been caught off guard and so he had stuttered while answering back "huh?? Oh, I'm from the US but we didn't really stay for long we moved to England, so that's where I was raised." He had decided to put in that he was raised somewhere else because he doesn't really know much about the US. "How about you?" He also asked the question since he thought it would just be 'nice' thing to do.

Sean nodded, he has never met someone from England before and was surprised when the boy told his adventure. "Oh wow. England is quite far away, I bet it's a whole change for you here." Sean hesitated for a moment, for some reason it didn't expect the question to be asked back, although that's the normal thing to do. "I'm from…" There was a quick pause in his sentence as a Sean remembered their old home, the memory wanted to continue but he suppressed it not wanting to think about it. "I'm from California, the western coast of the US."
