A New Adventure

Harrison had listened to where Sean was from and then had to think where exactly California was since geography wasn't really his strong suit. "Ah, I see." Harrison had then saw the fountain again as he was being led by Sean. "By the way, you sure you're okay?" Passing by the fountain again had reminded Harrison about how he had crashed into him by admiring the scenery. To be honest this person's safety was not really high on his priorities list but he has gotten on the nice guy routine and had asked like it was natural. After he had asked he had looked past Sean and saw more of the design around Beata. 'This sure is an interesting place, I wonder what this guys power is?' Thinking of Beata had Harrison curious about what gift this guy has, 'I mean sure he may be smaller than me but who knows? Maybe his power is to turn stuff to gold or speak to animals. I should try to ask this next time'

Sean's memory quickly came back as to how the two met. He totally forgot out of pure tiredness, the blond placed a hand on the back of his head and smiled at the boy. "Oh yeah, I'm fine. I was just a bit startled earlier, that's all." Of course he was startled, but the pain in his head didn't exactly fade away. There was defiantly going to be a goose egg the next day. The blond took a glance at the elegant fountain which was flowing with clear blue waters, it was gorgeous, 'That would be a nice reading spot...' They were getting close the the initiate dorms, it was always a bit far of a walk from the offices. "Are you sure you're okay? I'm guessing you took a hard fall as well."

They had gotten closer to the dorm when Sean asked Harrison about the fall. "Oh that, i'm fine i'm more than used to taking hits like that" This was true, his power didn't really upgrade his physique and so he had decided that he should train his body and not just rely on his power. It was for this same reason that he had learned about a martial art. He had arrived in Beata late because even after he had gotten a hold of his powers he didn't want to go to some school with people like him, he wanted to get stronger. It was because he had only thought it tailored to people with gifts like him nothing more. We had then approached the initiate dorm rooms. Having seen the front of the school he had an idea of what the dorms could have looked like and was pretty much on par with what he had thought.

Sean directed Harrison along the hallways passing the many dorms leading to the different houses. When they finally reached the initiate dorms Sean turned to the boy, "I believe this is where I leave you." It was pretty simple after making it to the dorms, just get settled, wait a week and take the placement test, then voila they put you in a house. He grabbed the door knob twisting it to open, "So, there is the main room with a kitchen, living room, bathroom, etc. Then each door on the side are the different bedrooms. There aren't many initiates right now, so you pretty much get your picking." Sean kept the door open so Harrison could enter, "Any questions before I go?"

Having seen the hallway to the dorm he was once more made more curious about this school. Harrison then was confused at Sean's words since he had been drifting off. "Ah, so this is the dorm" As they had walked through the hallways he had wondered which one would he be staying in. After he had heard about how there weren't many people who were initiates he had done a little victory pose in his head. After a short while and taking a quick look at what the dorms have had to offer he had heard Sean ask a question. "Well... actually if you don't mind, since this is Beata, what is your power?" This was a question he had thought off the first time they had met. Harrison had met people with different powers before but he had wondered what types of powers existed in this school.

Sean leaned up against the door frame letting out a yawn, he didn't realized how tired he was, his bed was definitely the next thing he would see after escorting Harrison. His blue eyes flickered open turning to the boy, "Oh sure, don't mind at all." he said with a friendly smile, "I have size manipulation. So I can change the size of any object, although I'm not that skilled yet." he said with a slight chuckle. Sean went back to his thoughts trying to remember what Harrison said his power was earlier, "So your power is to fly, right?" A slight pout appeared on Sean's face, taking a glance back at Harrison, "I wish I had that power." He always wanted to touch the clouds, or fly up into the sky a rainy day, never mind the lightning.

'Size manipulation huh, well he seems trustable, I'll just play with this for a second' "Yeah, flying is pretty useful. But then again. Harrison had grabbed a bright red apple from his bag, one of the few things he had on him. Putting the apple in his palm concentrating on it and making the apple grow in size and lose some colour, not enough to be super noticeable. "Size manipulation is pretty useful too if you think about it." After talking he had taken a bite of the apple showing is slightly darkened yellow colour. Since he couldn't create space, all he did was make it so that the apple takes up more space, it had the same mass still so the bite had lacked in taste. "Wow, you can change the size of things. I lied, my power is to steal other people's powers." 'Ha, now what reaction will you give me?' As he had laughed in his head thinking about how he could react he had still kept a nice smile on his face.

Sean kept the friendly smile on as the other boy talked, but it quickly turned to a frown as soon as the apple changed size. 'What the hell..' Sean furrowed his eyebrows, trying to make sense of what he just witnessed. His eyes were fixed on the apple that grew in the palm of Harrison's hand, his blue eyes slowly made their way back to the purple ones who seemed to mock him. "Why would you lie about such an awesome power?" He asked with a slight shine of anger in his eyes. Sean figured the boy was just messing with him, considering he could have increased the size of the apple greatly compared to the small size that he did change it to. "How do you steal other's powers anyways? Do you have to do skin-to-skin contact, or what?" Sean decided to play along, there was nothing better to do anyways. 'Let me see how you squirm your way out of this.'

"I lied cuze, what would you have done if I went and said 'Oh hi, my name is Harrison,I can copy other powers.' That would make some people pretty angry you know" Harrison was content with the reaction Sean had given but the question kind of took him off guard. 'Lets see... Ah!' "I'm still training my gift, so I can't copy abilities perfectly and I can only keep a certain amount on me" Being content with his answer he had put a smile on his face to keep his face looking calm. 'Is he on to me? Probably not. Although this did make it that much harder to talk about my powers. Hope we don't have the same class, Gift Mastery would be hard to explain.' So that he would not see the change in the apple colour, he had used his power and returned it to a form close to what it was in the beginning and took another bite.

A small frown eventually rested upon Sean's face, 'Maybe the kids telling the truth..' The only thing that still made him curious was the fact that Harrison lied in the first place. Sean's eye twitched as Harrison finished his sentence, "I don't know anyone who fly's at the school. And aren't you new? How did you manage to copy someones power by just entering the school?" Questions flooded his head, there was no way he would be fooled, unless he was actually telling the truth.

Harrison's smile was quickly dampened after hearing the barrage of question that Sean had set up after. 'Tsck, didn't anyone teach you manners!' whether it's was because he was somewhat tired due to use of his powers getting to Beata, running out of patience or both, Harrison's real personality was making its way through his mind. "Didn't someone teach you its rude to ask so many questions." He had said this in a snide tone after regaining his smile back and facing Sean. 'I mean sure I asked first but come on.' Harrison had decided that it was too late and should just continue and carry out the lie, what's the worst that can happen. "To answer your questions, this power was a gift by my'Uncle? No. Sister? No we would have same power. friend, his parents would not allow him to go to Beata and he let me copy his power. Also to copy a person's power I would need to know what it was first, then more about the person for better use." Being even more content he had smiled as he had waited, hoping he wouldn't find the wait between "my" suspicious.

Sean made a sour face, sure he was asking too many questions, but he didn't expect such an outburst. 'How was he able to copy his friends power for so long if he was only able to copy mine for a few seconds?' Sean crossed his arms, there was no point to carry on the discussion, if he really wanted to find out what his power was he could ask one of he head ups or something. "Welp, got anymore questions about the school then?"

Seeing that he didn't ask about the pause Harrison that seen that he was in the clear. Hearing Sean's question he had thought about it in his head since if he missed something he would have had to make "friends" with another person. Thinking it through, he had made the decision that there wasn't really anything major that he needed to be answered so he had thought it would be best to let him be on his way. "Nope, thank-you for guiding me I should be fine on my own" 'Well... a little bit more trickery won't hurt right?" Harrison had gestured a farewell then had headed towards the initiate dorm room where he was currently assigned to. Knocking on the door three times, he had teleported himself to the other side of the door and had put his ear towards the door to see if he could hear a reaction from Sean and sometimes looking through the doorscope.

OOC: the little window thingy at the door

Sean nodded, another yawn escaped his mouth as he responded in a mumbled voice, "Very well, I'll be on my way. Nice meeting you, Harrison." The blond turned to leave, but he looked back when Harrison knocked. A bit of shock fell over his face when he saw the boy vanish. "What the fuck." Sean decided to give up on what ever game Harrison was playing on him and grumbled angrily as he walked away. 'I'll get you back for making me look like a fool.'

"Tsck. Oh well" Harrison had left the door and had gone further inside. 'Huh, it seems like this will be a start to a new adventure.' Harrison had thought about how different Beata will be compared to his past schools.
