Jillian listened closely to Pepper's explanation, then thought hard for a few moments about the situation she was in. Once, a few years ago, Jillian had had a crush on a boy, but it she soon realized it had just been a case of young infatuation. All the movies she had seen that featured similar predicaments usually had extremely radical and somewhat ridiculous solutions that would only work in a piece of fiction.
Still, she wanted to help out this girl; the situation was clearly eating at her and Jillian can't stand to see people suffer. Her mind wandered a bit from solution to solution. Eventually, after a bit too long of a time had passed, she commented:
"I think it'll get better soon. If it's really meant to be, you'll be together soon. And if it's not, I'm sure you'll find someone else that deserves you," She smiled at Pepper, hoping to cheer her up at least a little. She intentionally chose to not answer the question about the crush; Jillian tries not to dwell on the past too much and tends to avoid the subject. Her power can make it difficult to do this, especially around others, so she doesn't pry into the pasts of others and keeps hers under wraps when she can.
