Some "Light" Sparring [OPEN]

Harrison had decided to go and train since, if he doesn't keep practicing his skill will be not as sharp down. Although this may not seem like a big deal to a person it is a big deal for him to keep up and practice his skills. He didn't really want to cause a scene or something like that so he had decided to travel a safe amount away from the school so that he would not be interrupted. He had been also warned that since the forest was vast he should be careful so that he does not end up lost. He had used his power to travel the distance and had landed on a clearing in the forest.

"What a nice clearing" After he had landed he observed his surrounding and had noticed that aside from the sun being bright there really wasn't anything wrong. As he looked around he had gotten a cigarette from his pocket and had lit it with a lighter that he had carried around with him. After he had put the cigarette in his mouth he had decided what to do. He had then faced a tree and had decided to practice showing off. He had then used his gift to grab 2 small columns of air around him and then had made them spin around him creating the illusion of a tornado. After a while he had then set the two columns into the tree forming a shape like those energy blast things that you see on TV that somehow forms after swinging downwards. Since he had only been showing off the blades of air had only destroyed part of the base of the tree that he had aimed at. As he was satisfied with the result he had stood there cigarette in mouth waiting.

Louis and Jake walked to the battle arena, looking for fun. Well, really it was Jake looking for fun, Louis was just along for the ride.

"Once again, my guilty side lets you drag me into something." The tall blonde lightly chuckled.

"That's why we're friends. Cause I can always count on you." Jake replied coolly as the finally reached the arena. "Well. Looks like we aren't alone." He said a bit softer, tilting his head towards the other student who stood on the platform.

After he finished his practice with the two blades of air he had heard some footsteps and faint mumbling of person. Harrison had turned to where this noise was coming from and saw two people were there. 'Huh I could have sworn I flew pretty far.' He had thought he had gotten some distance from the school to smoke and practice in peace. Upon further observation he had seen that this was not just some random clearing but a platform. He had been a bit disappointed since he had neglected the need to bring a map since he could just remember.

Seeing the two people standing there he had thought that this would be a place of fighting or something like that. "Hey! Any of you two up for a spar?" As he said this he took the cigarette in his mouth, threw it to the ground and had stomped on it. He had decided that if one of these two can fight, that might be better practice than some trees. Harrison had stood there with his arms crossed looking towards the two waiting for an answer.

Louis gave Jake a nod about the other person. When he asked the question about sparing, the blonde had to say no. "I won't, but he will." Louis gave a small laughed and nudged Jake on the shoulder. "I'll be over here." He said, walking to the side lines.

"Wait? You're just gonna make me fight this guy?" Jake said sarcastically watching his friend walk away. Well, he doesn't look like much of an opponent. Poor thing, must be a Initiate not knowing what he's getting himself into. Jake gave a smirk as he looked back to the new guy. "Well, I guess I will." Jake said calmly, the tall student walked a bit forward till he was only a yard or two away from the student.

Overhearing the little quarrel the two people had, he took a guess and said that the one that stood aside probably didn't have a gift that helps with fighting. After hearing the one that had been left on the platform somewhat complain, Harrison decided to aggravate him so that he would want to fight more. "Come on, just some 'light' sparring." As he said light he had made his right hand do air quotes. As this person walked up the had taken up the basic jeet kune do stance. He had trained in it but was cut super short due to him taking more of an interest in Beata, therefore he only knew the basics, intercept, retaliate. Although he only knew the basics he wasn't going to let this guy know. 'Huh, I wonder what his power is? Probably should have asked before asking to fight. Probably also should have asked what his name is... Really hope his power is not to make you fatigue instantly or something like that, this would just be embarrassing if that was the case.'

He had looked at his opponent and saw that he was taller and was in fights before. Harrison had planned to just use martial arts here until something out of the ordinary happens, then he would use his gift to use the air around to give his punches an extra kick. Since he doesn't want his arm to accidentally get torn off due to spatial movement his extra kick comes from expanding the air near the punch so that his fist would get that boost. "Your move" He had said this expecting him to just punch or kick normally.

Jake rolled his neck around making a crack and a pop. "Well, I don't want to do anything to extreme..." He said teasingly. The student soon turned fully mechanical. "Why don't we see what you got?" Jake said deeply in a robotic deep voice.

His robot/transformer mode:

Harrison had waited for this person to attack first but then in front of his eyes he had turned into a robot. Seeing as his opponent just went all transformers on him he had decided to jump back a bit to take a hold of what just happened. 'WOW, that looks so cool.' He wasn't a person that would just praise his enemy in combat but this was the first time he had seen a transformation into a robot.'Huh, 2 no 1 hit and I'm out aren't I. His power consisted on moving space and so did absolutely nothing to help with him since if he got hit it would be metal vs flesh. 'I guess I'm giving up on trying to use martial arts here' He had let go of the stance that he had before and had placed his left hand on what looked like a scythe shaped belt buckle on the back of his belt.'I would need to stall for about a minute if I want to use this at full power. I mean I could just chuck a nearby tree at him... What if he catches it and uses that to hit me?' His head was full of choices this was so new. 'JUST TEAR HIM APART' Another voice came into his head with an idea, he could just rip his arms off then he wouldn't be able to do anything. Although this was the case he would never use his power on someone else like that since that would be painful and not fun, so he decided to just push that voice away. "Lets see here" Deciding that he would probably want to use the scythe and it be at full size he had needed to stall for a long time. Since he had moved backwards he had gotten some distance away from this person. He had decided to use air as a distraction, just like he practiced he had grabbed 3 thin columns of air around him spun two around himself and threw one at the man. Since he needed to conserve energy for the weapon the column of air flying would be dodge-able.

Jake stood there, waiting for him to make his move. Suddenly a puff of air clanked against the armor, barely moving him. Is that the best he's got? No...He must be planning something. Jake gave a sigh. Without warning, his right arm transformed into a metal ax. The student ran towards the boy, his robot body shaking the floor. He raised his arm ready to swing, and soon, he was close enough take a shot. Jake swung his ax-arm down but not at the boy. It smashed into the ground next to the boy, only to merely scare him.

Louis leaned against tree watching Jake transform. A bit much, don't 'cha think? He was surprised the tall student would go to such lengths to fight this new kid. There's no stopping him now. Lets just hope he doesn't hurt anyone. He watched as Jake swung the ax. Oh, he's just playing with him. Geez Louis, have more faith in your friend.

He had seen the blade of air hit and it was just as he expected considering it speed and such. He had seen the man sigh after gotten hit and then he had seen his transformation. 'An axe what a weird choice of weapon' Harrison had then braced himself for the coming attack by putting the two columns of air one one side. 'Air expansion plus reflex equals dodge' As he had prepared to dodge the swing he had seen the swing sway away from him aiming away from him. 'Huh, no way. Is he playing with me?' As the person had swung the axe down he had a distasteful look in his eye. Instead of dodging he had used his air defense to push the axe more away from him and to lock it into the ground by forcing it down, whether or not it worked he had just guessed. To get away from the force it would do he had jumped normally away hoping that his arm would still be stuck there. "Hey are you underestimating me?" While he was mad that he did not take him seriously this was a part of his plan to stall until he could fully expand his weapon.

Jake wrenched the ax out of the ground, adrenaline pumped through his blood. "Under estimating you? I don't even know you!" He yelled sarcastically. Jake's ax turned into a huge sword. Again, he ran towards the boy. 1...2...3...Swing! He swung the swords at the boy. This time, I can't miss!

He had gotten an answer back which had somewhat put a smile on his face. He had thought that the response was pretty accurate to what he had guessed. When we was about to answer he had seen this man change his weapon freeing it from the ground and turning it into a sword then charging immideately. He had stalled enough time so Harrison had unbuckled his scythe-like belt buckle and expanded it to block this attack. Although he had deployed it just a second before it would have hit, he had not taken into account the force. With only one hand on the sycthe he had been flown back into the tree. With his back aching he had stood up looking back at the transformer. "You don't need to know someone to underestimate them". He had decided to take this more seriously then a thought popped into his head again. 'JUST RIP HIM APART' Having actually listening to this other voice he had realised how insane this voice is. 'I should go get myself checked' Standing still scythe in hand he had looked at the student and had found a half decent idea to beat this robot, gravity. He had charged at the robot with both hands on the scythe. Since his weapon had been out the need to hold back was gone so he had sent a column of air that was faster than him towards his left foot to tip him into a favourable spot.

Jake gave a smile when the boy was flung onto a tree. "Listen kid, I don't give a shit anymore." The tall student said, the blade glimmered in the sunlight that peered through the trees. Go easy on him. He's new after all. Jake thought to himself but the adrenaline of the fight had taken over.

Before he could do anything, he somehow slipped and was sitting on the ground, the wind knocked out of him. "So that's how you wanna play?" He chuckled, standing up. Jake's arm turned into a huge blaster canon. "Lets see how ya like this!" He looked through the scope of the weapon and readied to fire. Well, I hope this doesn't kill him. Jake smiled and pulled the trigger.

Maria walked through the empty forest, playing with her powers. She had been able to bring out items without saying Requip aloud, but it didn't really work so well with larger stuff. So, the girl wandered around for a while until she heard noises. A fight? In the forest? Maria followed the sounds until she was close enough to recognize them as mechanical sounds. God Jake, you're a fuckin idiot. She gave a sigh as she walked closer.

When Maria got there she saw Jake's arm turn into a huge gun like weapon. A canon?! Isn't that kid new?! She looked from her dorm mate to the white haired kid, alarmed. "Requip! Heaven's Wheel!" She yelled, running in front of Harrison. With a flash of light a huge titanium shield, a bit taller than herself was in her hands. Jake's canon blast hit the huge shield, creating a huge boom noise. Maria was pushed back into the ground a bit, but wasn't hurt; she had gotten there just in time. When the explosion was over, Maria looked back at the newer student. "What are you guys doing sparring in the forest?!" The charming girl said with a huff. The shield was still held up in case Jake fired again, but Maria was able to talk to the boy behind her. It had taken the blow from the cannon blast and luckily, nothing caught on fire.

'Thats more like it!' Harrison could feel the adrenaline pumping through him making the fight more enjoyable to Harrison. He was then surprised at the fact that his hand had turned once more into a weapon, a ranged one this time. 'GUNS' Harrison's hatred of guns had gave him a little more motivation to beat this guy. 'Let's see~ Forcefield! He had stopped his approach due to the fact of the arm transformation and had a focus on defense. 'As long as this thing doesn't curve behind me, or move at hyper-sonic I should be fine' As Harrison twisted space so that anything in front of him would be repelled in a horizontal fashion, someone had interrupted the duel. Due to the fact that Harrison's gift can't tell projectile from flesh and he didn't want whoever this was to turn into spaghetti he had stopped channeling. There was an explosion but Harrison was fine but he had a slight concern for the random stranger that butted in. He had seen that she and everything was okay, with nothing on fire. "Um... SPARING?" The adrenaline and hatred of guns had gotten him pumped up for this battle, only to be stopped by some random chick. "The real question is, what are you doing? Harrison had thought since you would not normally see air flow and he had used his gift to repel the attack, he looked like he had been caught. Harrison had caught sight of her shield which got him thinking. 'How in the world can she move that thing?' He had stepped away from her and the shield that she was still holding up and looked towards the transformer with a confused look. "Say, do you know this chick?"

The force-field's movement is like this but vertically (but its also invisible since its just air being moved

Seeing Jake wasn't gonna fire again, Maria put away the sheila. "Saving your ass apparently." She said angrily, her hands on her hips. The tall girl walked over to Jake and stood in front of him in silence for a few moments. Then without any notice, she raised her hand and smacked Jake across the face. "You're a idiot, aren't you?" Maria said, her gaze boring into his soul.

Jake was caught completely off guard by Maria's appearance and stood there, his arm back to normal.  Why is she walking towards me? He breathed hard looking at her as she stood there. "Ow! What the hell!?" He rubbed his cheek after his dorm mate smacked him. "I thought you didn't care about guys like this." He honestly couldn't believe her reason for interfering. "And ya, I know her. She's my dorm mate." He replied to the boy grumpily.

Hearing her response had made Harrison quite angry. Despite underestimating almost everyone he meets, he disliked the fact she thought he could not survive his attack. He had heard that they were dorm mates and that's how she knew the transformer. Even though their fight was broken up he still couldn't believe what she had done. Because of this Harrison's hair had slightly turned red along with his eyes. He had lifted several big portions of the ground that was flattened due to the explosion. "For you're information I would have lived through that" Anger had somewhat taken over Harrison. While his limit had not been broken yet, signs of him almost hitting it were clear as day. Seeing as he had ceased he had placed the chunk of earth back in the ground with loud thud. With hair red and eyes red he had normally walked towards him with no signs of using his power. He placed his hand on his forehead with displease. "Just a little more and I had him."
