He sighed as he noticed that well; it was true; the power of illusion with the last name Mirage...Was Badger God having fun up there? He sighed as he listened to what he should be doing to train his power. Find a hobby like reading a book? Done and done; he had a few books he had been meaning to read. He started to shift though his backpack; trying to find a book that he had packed with him; before pulling it out. It was a dark grey book but the binding on it was pure black. Written on the side in a soft; golden color was three simple words; 'Bran Stoker. Dracula.' He grinned at the book before he made his way to the bleachers and sat down; flipping his book open to page one and started to read. He would get to making illusions at some point.

Hosa jumped when the clipboard nailed the wall; her eyes wide. Did her teacher really just do that? She shook her head with a sigh; trying to think of what she could do to train her powers. She guessed first of all was trying to shapeshift into larger animals. They always seemed to tire her out so it seemed like a good choice to do; only she was going to start out with the smaller ones, she wasn't ready to turn into a elephant yet, or even a blue whale. She looked around; before sighing. Where the hell was she going to try out her power? And what animal would be first on her list...

Brant watched as the doors seemly swung open on their own; but he caught a glimpse of Evelyn before she disappeared down the hall; a small frown appearing on his face. Poor girl; it had to be hard to have a power that it seemed she couldn't control. With a sigh and a puff of flames; he narrowed his eyes. Focus; that is what he had to do. Focus on his power and try to make it more powerful. Brant took a deep breath; his green eyes narrowed. He was going to put all that he had into this single flame. His heart started to beat fast as he got ready; he was going to breath the biggest flame ever! He let out his breath with a hard blow; flames rising from his mouth; before quickly flicking out. His flames had barely reached over his head. He groaned as he covered his face with his hand; this was going to take forever to try to master.

Barret said nothing as the young woman ran out, twisting back around and instead watching the line disappear. He noticed one student who was having trouble, raising an eyebrow and walking over to the frustrated Brant, "Giving up already? You're hardly a minute in." The teacher mused, looking rather unimpressed with the student and crossing his arms. Did any of them honestly expect to master their powers quickly, or that this would be easy at all? He supposed he should've expected as much, though. Tch. Kids.

Alicia seemed rather content with her orders. Whatever she had been doing before to train, it was apparently her doing it ring. The young woman found a nice spot to sit alone on the benches, resting at the top against the wall and gently leaning back, closing her eyes and beginning to daydream - focusing and hopefully seeing a vision of the future sometime soon. Meanwhile, Eb's other lady was left standing rather awkwardly - and she hadn't the luxury of leaving this place seemingly unnoticed; though she was about as crestfallen as the other girl. Still, with stubborn determination, she told herself she'd find a way to discover her gift with or without this so-called teacher's help. Until then, sitting awkwardly in the corner of the bleachers and fiddling with your nails it was~.

The young man near dozing off from his spot in the bleachers had said nothing the entire time, honestly hardly paying attention. It wasn't until Barret's last strange order had caught him off guard. There was something he wasn't even going to bother trying to help? That didn't make any sense... Wasn't this the entire point of the school? Jace frowned, eying the back of the person he was seemingly talking too. Wait, that was Evelyn, right? Somanyquestions. The Autumn felt a twinge of irritation, wondering why Barret refused to do his job and outcast someone like that, and made a thought to offer the girl a seat or something after the little meeting was over. He didn't expect her to bolt out of the classroom, though, and looked with sudden wide-eyes as she fled. Concern suddenly shown on his face. That had to be far from normal, "Hey, wait!" Jace shouted after her, wondering if she had even heard. The student quickly got up on his feet and swung himself over the bleachers, jumping down and chasing after her - not particularly caring if the coach noticed or not. It was hard going after someone you couldn't even focus on, he learned rather quickly. "Evelyn!" Maybe she'd stop for him?

The moment that Barret spoke Brant shot his head up. Oh God. He spun around to face the teacher, his eyes wide. "Wh-what? N-No, sir! I-I'm not giving up! I was just...expecting a bigger flame; that is all. I-I'll work hard on this; sir!" For some odd reason; Barret just seem to scare the hell out of the young firebreather; perhaps because it was the fact Brant was a little wimp that Brant had no idea what power Barret had; or how well he had control of it. If there was any class Brant wanted to pass the most in; it had to be this one! He quickly spun back around to work on his firebreathing, and with this exhale he produced a slightly bigger flame; not as big as Brant had once gotten when he was egged on by his brother; but it was enough to make him grin.

Lotte looked at Ethel nervously, and nodded to the teacher. She had to switch places with Ethel so that they could train to use their power better. Tagging in and out....she imagined it being a nice source of infinite energy. One fights, taps out and rests while the other fights, and so on. It could work, but Lotte did not like switching. She watched Jace chase Evelyn, but shifted her gaze once more. She had to focus on her power. The boy was more interested in the hard to see girl than her obviously. It was better to just not think about it.

Colette let out a small gasp. Turning it on? She couldn't do that, though! She only had so much blood! Nevertheless, she nodded slowly, looking down at her feet with her hands crossed behind her back. She dug her foot into the ground and held an unsure expression. She could try. The Infirmary was supposed to supply her with blood just in case, after all...

Oliver looked at Wren, grinning. They both had similar training regiments. Perhaps they could train together? He shifted his weight from foot to foot, looking up at the light in the ceiling. He sure was hyper that day. He couldn't stand still. Truth be told, he was excited and impatient about turning off his power. Was it truly possible?
