Newbies [Dorm 308]

"Okay fine..." Larissa grumbled to her brother before Kaya said she had never seen the movie. Gasping and looking at the girl with an exaggerated surprised look, she quickly turned the tv over to the movie, fiddling with the remote until the movie started. "I can't believe you haven't seen this! [Future Disney flick] is like... one of the best movies! At least, in my opinion..." the more she talked, the more Larissa's voice went from shrieking to manageable. She was just a little too overexcited about the fact that Kaya didn't watch new movies. Nevermind the lack of hot chocolate. Kaya needed to see this movie now.

Danny gave a soft smile at his sister's over excitedness. She was always more expressive than he was, but there were times he could be just as expressive as her, mostly with historical things and what not, and swords. He liked swords. "She is right. This is a pretty good movie." He had seen it a few times, but he was perfectly fine watching it again to add to the many times he had already watched it.

"Let us watch it, then..." Kaya seemed a little distracted, casting a short glance to the window. The little red thing still remained among the snow, stone-faced, its black eyes looking up and darting around. It was dumpy and looked a little peeved. She would be too. Her mouth was slightly ajar, thoughtfully, as she took it in. She wasn't tall enough to reach out and snatch it in. It would probably fly up to the cupboards anyway.

Observing Kaya for a moment, Larissa simply shrugged and turned her attention to the movie as it started playing. After that, the summer didn't really pay attention to much. Her eyes were practically glued to the screen the whole time until the credits rolled, sipping her hot chocolate every now and then until the cup was empty. By the end of it, she was curled up with her knees inside of her large sweater and her arms wrapped around her knees. "That was awesome even after watching for the hundredth time!" she said, exaggerating of course. Even though she'd totally watch it one hundred times if she could.

Danny accidentally fell asleep during the movie. He liked the movie, but he was still rather tired for some reason, and fell asleep. It was kind of hard to avoid, but it was a light sleep as soon as his sister spoke again about the movie he work up with a slight jolt. "Yep a good movie.." He said in a bit of a groggy tone. He blinked his eyes a few times to adjust to the light once again.
