PostSubject: What a Lightweight [CLOSED]   What a Lightweight [CLOSED] EmptyThu Jan 28, 2016 9:19 pm

Luckily for both of them, Kyou's dorm, #408, was right next to the party.

It had only taken a a measly few swigs of the alcohol to send Kyou off of the edge, and now, since she could barely even walk, Joseph was helping her back to her room. It was like dealing with a tired toddler. Her legs wouldn't move, and she could barely utter a full, coherent sentence. With one arm wrapped around Kyou's waist, Joseph used his free hand to open the front door of the dorm, and manoeuvred the drunken fifteen-year-old inside. Maybe I shouldn't have let her drink so much..

Sometimes, the Winter forgot that everyone else wasn't like him, and could in fact become intoxicated when drinking. "Which room is yours?" he asked, struggling to keep the Autumn upright.

PostSubject: Re: What a Lightweight [CLOSED]   What a Lightweight [CLOSED] EmptySat Feb 20, 2016 6:57 pm

Kyou couldn't help but giggle at Joseph. He seemed slightly annoyed, and her poking of his face sure wouldn't help. The drunk girl glanced into the dorm, her eyes taking in the sight. It was definitely her dorm. She looked at the older boy, seemingly confused by his question. Which one was her room again? The girl shrugged. "The one that doesn't smell like burnt rubber," she chuckled, referring to her idiot dorm-mate, although Joseph wouldn't understand.

Kyou removed herself from the older boy's grasp, slipping forward and taking a few shaky steps towards the mini-fridge in the corner of the room. I'm sure Noah had some beers lying around... she thought as she stumbled towards the fridge, her legs wobbly and unreliable in this moment.

A few more steps an-- It didn't take long for Kyou's legs to give way. The bronze-haired girl fell unceremoniously onto the ground, face first. It was embarrassing beyond belief. She could feel her face grow more and more heated, although the alcohol could have had some part in that. She laid still for a moment, unsure if she should rise in her shame. It wasn't until she realized her limbs wouldn't cooperate that she managed to utter a few words. "C-Can you help...? And see if there are some beers in the fridge while you're at it," the Autumn managed though her words were slurred and hard to understand.

God, she's drunk,
Joseph through as Kyou wiggled out of his grasp and stumbled away from him. She then proceeded topple over and land face-first in the hardwood floor. Yeah, it was definitely a mistake to let her drink..

Joseph ran his fingers through his hair once, considering this predicament that he'd gotten himself into, and then strode towards the fallen Autumn girl. Carefully, he hoisted her back up by her shoulders and set her gently down on the nearby sofa. "I don't think beer is very good idea," he murmured, straightening himself out. Briefly, the Winter wondered why a fifteen-year-old girl had beer in the first place, but then he remembered high school. He'd known kids that had been drinking on the very first day of the ninth grade. Kyou, though, didn't seem like someone who was very accustomed to the effects of alcohol. She was too petite, and had become intoxicated too quickly.

What a Lightweight [CLOSED] Empty
PostSubject: Re: What a Lightweight [CLOSED]   What a Lightweight [CLOSED] EmptySun Feb 21, 2016 4:07 pm

It took her by surprise at how easily the boy lifted her up and guided her to the couch. He placed her down onto the cushions and she fell back into the pillows, sighing and looking up at the dark-haired Winter. It was somewhat relieving. The brunette's shoulders were aching from an eventful night, and her legs shook a little from the alcohol in her system. But now wasn't the time to relax. She still wanted beer and she was going to have to get some if he wouldn't.

Kyou's lips pursed and her brows knitted tightly. She crossed her arms clumsily and pouted intently at Joseph. Maybe she could get her way if she gave him puppy-dog-eyes for long enough. "Don't you want some too?" she purred, hoping he was eager enough to have some for himself that he'd be willing to give her a few sips. Well, a few beers.

What a Lightweight [CLOSED] Empty
PostSubject: Re: What a Lightweight [CLOSED]   What a Lightweight [CLOSED] EmptySun Feb 21, 2016 5:34 pm

Joseph sighed again. If he was to be perfectly honest with himself, he was a little bit jealous of Kyou's ability to achieve this level of drunkenness.. Okay, he was considerably more jealous than that, actually. The entire reason Joseph smoked and drank as much as he did was a) because it had become a habit over the years, and b) because he had a strong desire to understand what a nicotine buzz or being drunk felt like. He'd even tried a variety of different narcotics over his high-school years to see if he could feel anything as a result of using them, but unfortunately, his body healed too quickly for him to test the limits of his meaningless existence.

Turning, the Winter made his way over to the small fridge that was positioned in the room and swung the door open. The beers that Kyou had been requesting were nowhere to be seen, however. The only things present were a half-eaten cup of yoghurt coated in saran wrap, and a jug of milk that may or may not have been rotten. Joseph raised an eyebrow, nudged the door shut and strode back over to the couch, seating himself on the cushion next to Kyou. "No beer in the fridge, sorry," he informed her quietly, pulling a cigarette out of his pocket and lighting it with practiced ease. "Looks like one of your dormmates drank it all."

PostSubject: Re: What a Lightweight [CLOSED]   What a Lightweight [CLOSED] EmptySun Feb 21, 2016 6:37 pm

"What?!" The girl shot up in alarm after hearing there was a lack of beer in her dorm. It was a mistake she realized after a sharp pain shot through her head and the world began to blur. The brunette flopped back down, holding her head and squinting her eyes in an attempt to remove herself from the dizzying surroundings. "Oh god..." she whispered, pinching the bridge of her nose between her thumb and index finger.

"It was probably Noah. I should go punch him," Kyou muttered, opening her eyes and thanking everything that was holy that the room was no longer spinning. Her brows were once again knit but her lips were no longer pursing. She was more angered by Noah than anything else at this point. She sat up more slowly this time, crossing her legs and turning her body to Joseph. The Autumn let out a small sigh and glanced around the room. No beer, no party, and all alone in the main room. "What now?" she asked, her brown eyes fogged. Maybe... Maybe they could go to her room.

PostSubject: Re: What a Lightweight [CLOSED]   What a Lightweight [CLOSED] EmptyMon Feb 22, 2016 5:41 am

Admittedly, it was a bit amusing to watch Kyou jerk around and get dizzy. Clearly, she had no knowledge of the effects of alcohol. She began to complain about her roommate, accusing him of drinking all the beer in the fridge. Joseph had heard the name 'Noah' around before. Wasn't he one of the super speed kids? The asshole who ran laps around the school in the morning taunting slower people?

Joseph's attention returned to Kyou as she sat up and asked what to do. His eyes darted around the vicinity. Which room was Kyou's? He got up again to get a better view of the doors, whilst exhaling a thin cloud of smoke. There was a label on Room #4's door. Squinting, he managed to make out the girl's name in the darkness. "I think you should get some rest," he suggested, flicking the glowing end of the cigarette to put it out. The Winter extended a hand to Kyou to help her up off of the sofa.

What a Lightweight [CLOSED] Empty
PostSubject: Re: What a Lightweight [CLOSED]   What a Lightweight [CLOSED] EmptyMon Feb 22, 2016 7:09 pm

It was as if her silent, drunken prayers had been answer in the form of a concerned comment. "I-I guess we- I mean I should go to my room then!" she stuttered. Even in this state she an awkward speaker.

The girl once tried to rise with the help of Joseph's extended hand, but her legs would just not cooperate. She stumbled forward, landing solid on the older boy's chest with an 'oof!' She pulled herself back to look up at him, and gave him an apologetic smile. Or at least a forced one. "Hehe, sorry," Not really, she thought before continuing, "I still don't think I can walk just yet." At least that was true.

It took her a moment, but she began to greatly appreciate her current position. Her free had was pressed against his firm chest, while the other was tightly holding one of his. Even though she had to crane her to see his face, she did her best. The boy was attractive. Why hadn't she noticed it at first? Oh right, he was covered in blood. Thankfully his own. She could somewhat feel his hot breath on her face, causing heat to once again rise to her cheeks. Although the stench of smoke from his recently burnt out cigarette was horrid, she could look past it for the moment.

What a Lightweight [CLOSED] Empty
PostSubject: Re: What a Lightweight [CLOSED]   What a Lightweight [CLOSED] EmptyMon Feb 22, 2016 9:07 pm

Joseph should have been expecting her to fall over. She grabbed his hand and managed to get off of the couch, but she faltered immediately and landed smack dab in the middle of Joseph's chest. The Autumn managed an apology as she gripped the fabric of his t-shirt, and admitted that she was having trouble walking. Joseph had caught that earlier already. He had carried her here, after all.

Just as her intense study of his face became a little unsettling, Joseph slipped an arm around Kyou's waist and hoisted her upwards. Luckily, she wasn't very heavy. He carried her over to her room, kicked the door open gently with one foot, and stepped inside. He didn't plan on staying very long. Although his intention was entirely platonic, some may not take so kindly to an eighteen-year-old carrying a drunken fifteen-year-old girl into her bedroom.. There was also her alcohol-addled mind to deal with, as well.

Kyou's room was quite tidy, and the bed sat off to the left. As placidly as possible, he sat her down on the edge of the blankets, and then stepped away. "Do you need anything else?" It was kind of his fault that this had happened, anyway.

What a Lightweight [CLOSED] Empty
PostSubject: Re: What a Lightweight [CLOSED]   What a Lightweight [CLOSED] EmptySat Feb 27, 2016 5:15 pm

Kyou was about to protest when Joseph lifted her up onto his shoulder, but she knew there was no way around this. She waited patiently as he kicked her door open, carried her into the rather plain room, and set her down gently on the edge of the bed. Some deep and dark hidden desire in her wanted to pull the Winter down by his shirt collar onto her bed. Instead, she stood, although it probably wasn't the best idea in her state, and leaned closer to the boy. She feigned a pain in her back, holding it as if her muscle sudden contracted and left her in a state of suffering. "Maybe a massage?" she mewled, looking up with glazed brown eyes.

As she was about to step forward and take a leap of faith, her legs gave once more and she tumbled to the ground. Her face was plastered to the carpet, but this time, she didn't make a noise. Or even move and inch. Only the slight rising and falling of her back gave any indication that she was still alive and breathing. It wasn't until a soft, but muffled snore came from the bronze haired girl that the situation could be understood.

What a Lightweight [CLOSED] Empty
PostSubject: Re: What a Lightweight [CLOSED]   What a Lightweight [CLOSED] EmptyMon Mar 07, 2016 8:54 am

Okay, this definitely didn't look good now.

Joseph had never been interested in physical intimacy. Not even remotely. To him, it was no more engaging or special than drinking a glass of water. Despite this, however, his v-card had been taken from him in a janitor's closet in his freshman year by a rather impatient young woman in the twelfth grade. Since then, he'd found himself in multiple interesting and awkward relationships. Most had ended badly. He'd also gotten himself into all sorts of compromising, frankly strange sexual situations, the most extreme being an incident down in Tennessee involving a very forward country girl, a barn, and a couple of very large nails..

The Winter knew when a girl was giving him bedroom eyes, and Kyou was giving him bedroom eyes. She was fifteen, drunk out of her inexperienced mind, and glancing suggestively at a high-school graduate that she could just barely consider a friend. Then she went ahead and asked for a massage. Good grief, slow down. He opened his mouth to suggest a glass of water instead, or something else practical, but before he could speak, Kyou flopped forward and crashed down onto the carpet in a sorry heap. A perfect face-plant.

Joseph knelt down and motioned to grab her arm to help her up, but he froze just before touching her. She was asleep. He stood back up and scratched his head. He'd known she was drunk, but drunk enough to fall asleep in the blink of an eye? Perhaps it was better just to leave her on the carpet. Waking her up, Joseph figured, was probably not a good idea. He didn't want to have to fend off her blind sexual advances.

Pulling his lighter back out of his pocket again, Joseph sat down at the foot of Kyou's bed and leaned his back against the wall. He didn't see a point in going back to his dorm. He was tired, and he wanted to make sure Kyou didn't do anything too stupid in her current state. He felt responsible for her actions, as it was him who had provided alcohol for her. He lit a cigarette and inhaled deeply, letting his eyes flutter shut.

.: [ Time Skip ] :.

Joseph frowned at he felt sunlight hit his face. He hadn't intended to fall asleep, but the warmth of the room and the calming nicotine cloud he'd built up around himself had eventually lulled him into slumber. He shifted a bit, eyes still closed, but was surprised to feel a weight on his torso.

Oh.

He squinted and glanced down. Sure enough, Kyou was settled on his chest, snoring softly into his shirt. How did she even get up off of the carpet? he wondered, gently pulling himself upwards into a sitting position. Staying here was probably not a great choice.

Joseph carefully moved the sleeping Autumn off of him and onto the bedding next to him, and then swung his legs over onto the floor. He straightened his coat out and peered down at his comrade. She would have a killer hangover when she woke up. Perhaps if Joseph was quiet, he could make his way out of the dorm, fetch her a drink and some breakfast, and return without drawing too much attention to himself. He didn't want people to get the wrong idea, or to give Kyou a bad reputation or something. As inconspicuously as possible, the Winter boy exited Dorm #408 and started towards the cafeteria.

PostSubject: Re: What a Lightweight [CLOSED]   What a Lightweight [CLOSED] EmptyMon Mar 07, 2016 8:22 pm

The way she was snoring, you almost thought she would have been passed out for the entire night. Joseph had soon fallen asleep in a cloud of his own cigarette smoke, and Kyou, half-asleep after waking up from a strange bump that broke the silence of the room, was still piss-drunk from their party adventures. Somehow, the girl had managed to make her way out of the room, took a quick bathroom break, and returned to her room without alerting the sleeping boy. She crawled into her bed, unknowing of Joseph fast asleep against the wall. Curling up to what she assumed was her pillow, she fell back to sleep as if nothing had happened.

...

Regret was the only thing that crossed her mind the moment she woke up. The strong smell of alcohol and smoke only made the intense headache she had grow larger. She refused to open her eyes. No. She knew there were no blinds on the window, and she could feel the heat from the sunlight burning her uncovered shoulders. The light would be blinding, there was no way she could open them without setting her retinas on fire.

Shoving her face deeper into her pillow, she inhaled deeply, slightly wincing at the sharp pain that struck her in the side of the head. "Ugh..." was all she could manage in her current state.

What a Lightweight [CLOSED] Empty
PostSubject: Re: What a Lightweight [CLOSED]   What a Lightweight [CLOSED] EmptyWed Mar 09, 2016 7:21 pm

Within a few minutes of being gone, Joseph returned to Kyou's dorm, carefully holding a plate full of breakfast food in one hand, and a tall glass of water in the other. He didn't expect her to be awake yet, so he would just leave the food on her bedside table and go back to his own room. If he stayed any longer, Kyou would wake up, and seeing a man in your room after a night of heavy drinking that you couldn't recollect would be rather alarming, the Winter figured.

Pushing her door open quietly, Joseph crept inside and set both the plate and the glass on the small oak drawer that sat next to the headboard of Kyou's bed. He poised to exit, but was stopped by a soft, whiny mutter, muffled by the fuzz of a blanket. Joseph glanced down at the Autumn, and then at the alarm clock on her desk desk. 10:30? Wow, he hadn't noticed how late it was. Kyou had already missed her first class, and her seconds was bound to be nearly over by now. Joseph didn't particularly care if he missed a couple of lessons, but he figured Kyou might, so he saw no reason to let her miss more classes by allowing her to sleep in.

The dark-haired Winter reached out and gently shook the girl's nearest shoulder. "Hey," he murmured, "I brought you breakfast."

PostSubject: Re: What a Lightweight [CLOSED]   What a Lightweight [CLOSED] EmptySat Mar 12, 2016 12:36 pm

Kyou jumped under his light touch and pulled her head up to look at him. That was a mistake. The bright sunlight hit her eyes, causing them to sting and water. She instinctively shut them tight.

After some time, she slowly opened them, properly adjusting them to the light. Joseph stood above her, his hand on her shoulder, shaking her slightly. Her mind still groggy from the mix of pain and sleep, she stared at him, wondering exactly why he was here. They didn't... Sitting up in alarm, she looked down to make sure her clothes were still present. The Autumn sighed in relief at the sight of her dress. The night was a complete blur for her, who knows what could have happened. Her eyes trailed over to the tray of breakfast that sat on her bedside table. Pancakes, eggs, bacon, and a some sliced melon. It looked like a really great meal, and Kyou couldn't wait to dig in. But there were more important matters to attend to at the moment.

"What happened last night?" she tentatively asked, meeting the Winter's gaze.

PostSubject: Re: What a Lightweight [CLOSED]   What a Lightweight [CLOSED] EmptySun Mar 13, 2016 5:04 pm

Joseph had been expecting Kyou to be a little worried, not having experienced intoxication before. He sat down on the far end of her bed and settled his elbows on his knees, speaking in a nonchalant voice. "You got a little drunk last night at the party next door," he explained, folding his hands. That was a bit of an understatement, but he wouldn't bother recounting all the details at the moment. He could do that at a time when the Autumn girl wasn't so hungover, is she so wished. "I carried you back here, and you fell asleep probably thirty seconds after I set you down." There was a bit of an amused edge to his voice. He cocked his head in the direction of the food he'd set out. "It was getting a bit late for the cafeteria to be open, but I managed to snag that before it closed." He paused for a moment and looked to Kyou, expression a softening a little; becoming more sincere. "Nothing you would regret happened, if that's what you're nervous about. I can promise you that."
