| Sean stepped into the infirmary, not sure of what to expect. His heart was already pounding, in fact it's been pounding the last few days. The other night was horrible, the most blood he's seen since, well since that day. Sean shook his head, he didn't need those thoughts flying at him as well. Her injuries were already explained to him by a nurse: punctured lung, broken ribs, mild concussion, you name it. He made it to her room and stood at the doorway, he wasn't ready to confront her, but better now then later. Sean pushed the door open and walked inside, a small sigh escaped his lips as he peered over Jillian. She was asleep, letting out small breaths of air against her oxygen mask. The autumn took a seat by the side of her bed and opened a book, in attempt to stay calm. His brain buzzed with memories, forcing their way up to the surface. Sean let out an agitated growl and closed his book, placing his head against the wall. 'Please, please not today.'ooc; haha shit post. deal with it. My hamsters crawling up my arm, trying not to drop him. here, for all you lame butts that didn't read what put her in the infirmary: https://beataacademy.rpg-board.net/t2762-the-accident-in-306-closed | |

| Jillian had either been in a nearly comatose state for a few hours after Sean had carried her to the infirmary. She had payed attention to nothing but the stabbing, pounding, and aching that she felt reverberate throughout her entire upper body and head. Sleeping was extremely difficult, especially because she had always moved a lot and her current state prohibited most movements. Once she was actually able to open her eyes and process what others were saying to her, she was told about her current condition. Her lung was punctured by the ribs that had cracked in her chest and her head pounded with a mild concussion. Her ankle had also been twisted a little and several parts of her were sore with bruises. Jillian's memory of the night it happened seemed to have disappeared and it was all lost in a red haze. The people who had tended to her hadn't told her how she got into this situation and at this point, she's not even sure if she wants to know. The only clear fact that could pierce through her haze was that Sean had taken her to the infirmary, and that had only come to her after a good fifteen minutes of intense concentration. But none of that mattered to her in her current situation. All she could pay attention to was the aching in her body and the gross feeling she'd gotten from doing so little moving. It was an extensively laborious task for Jillian to breathe because of her lung and every moment she was a wake was concentrated on breathing. She was doing fairly well, for she spent little time awake and while sleeping she had very few moments when her breathing would pause a little too long; although, she had woken up plenty of times, gasping for air. Today was no different to her; she had been struggling to hold on for so long that it wasn't odd to her anymore, even if it was difficult. Her eyes were closed as usual and she had sunk into a deep, calming sleep. Her mind was blank and the pain she had been feeling constantly was distant and almost gone. Sleep had been her refuge, no matter the issues she had. It was the closest she could feel to normal while laying on a hospital bed with tubes stuck in her and bandages wrapped around her. Jillian had been sleeping, like usual, when her heartbeat began to slow. It became slower and slower until finally her body jerked her awake. She pitched forward as far as the tubes would let her, about a foot away from the bed. Her mouth opened and gasped at the mask on her face, desperately gasping for oxygen. Her golden eyes were wide and fearful as she almost felt her heart stop. Adrenaline rushed through her veins and kick-started her heart back up. Jillian's lung felt as if it were being stabbed by her ribs, but she ignored it and kept gasping in air as fast as she could. Finally, she lay back down on the bed and stared at the ceiling, still terrified of the feeling in her chest and how close her heart had been to stopping for good. | |

| Sean jumped up, shocked at what just happened. His pale blue eyes scanned the computer screen which showed her heartbeat. The black screen continued to beep at the rate of Jillian's heart, until it went back to normal. His own heart pounded as he rested his gaze back upon Jillian. She was taking small breaths in through her oxygen mask, slightly elevated by the pillows.
Sean stood up and walked to the side of her bed. His face was calm, but in the inside he was practically panicking. "H-hey." The autumn cleared his voice as he began to talk again, "How are you feeling? You took quite the fall." His breath was slightly raged as he looked down at her side, remembering the bloody hole that was left by the wood and glass that pierced through her.
Images of the terrifying night ran through his mind. The bookcase that crushed her ribs, the blood that was drenched into the carpet, and the desperate cries she made as her ribs pierced her lungs. Sean's eyes were glazed over as older memories pressed their way to the surface, he couldn't help but let out a ragged breath attempting to take his mind off of it.

| Jillian blinked ever so slowly and Sean's words barely registered in her mind. She couldn't focus and her sudden awakening was still at the forefront of her mind. Her golden eyes glanced over to Sean's blue ones for a few moments, just long enough to understand the fact that he was there. Her eyes moved back to look at the ceiling and her heart rate began slowing to a normal rate. Her eyelids slipped shut and she focused on forcing herself to breathe slowly so that she could stay, well, alive. The pain of her wounds that accompanied her wakefulness stabbed at her chest so hard she stated taking shallower breaths, trying not to aggravate her injured lungs. Jillian stayed like this for a few moments, staying still so that she could tumble back into the comforting silence and normality of unconsciousness. Never before had she wanted so badly to escape reality and embrace the feeling of not being in sync with her mortal body. She usually enjoyed the magical feeling of existence, but not now. Reality began to slip from her fingertips as she lay there, wishing for sleep to grip her in its comforting claws again. However, once the world faded to black around her and all her senses melted to nothingness, she was suddenly aware again. It was not a typical sense, no, in fact, it was just a feeling, one that was deep within her, but it also felt foreign and not entirely hers. It felt almost like her power. Perhaps it was, but that didn't matter to Jillian. She simply wanted it to go away and leave her in the peace of solitude. Not that solitude was exactly peaceful, in fact it was rather lonely. But, that's the only option she had besides agonizing pain. She tried to shove the feeling of dread away. Jillian almost couldn't breathe when she realized that she was breathing fine, she just felt as if she were suffocating. She was being suppressed, shoved to the side. It was like she was an unwanted thought that was being tossed aside for favor of something better. The suffocating wouldn't let up and she began to tremble from the weight of the feeling. It was terrifying and no matter how hard she tried to get rid of it, it wouldn't leave. | |

| Sean frowned when Jillian didn't respond, apparently the fall had more of a impact on Jillian than he thought. His mind raced when her breaths became slower and her eyes eventually closed once again. Blue eyes darted back and forth at Jillian and the monitor making sure she was okay. The autumn took a deep breath in as he slumped down against the bench shoving his face into his hands. 'Why the hell did this have to happen?!' Frustration and fear spread throughout his body leaving a sharp feeling in his gut. His vision blurred in and out as the memories pushed their way through.
Sean sat with his back against the wall, it’s small ridges pushed against the bridge of his spine making him uncomfortable. He continuously readjusted his positioning until he was comfortable and crossed his legs. The palm of his hand rested against his cheek has he read a book assigned to him by his teacher. He wore a white t-shirt and black shorts in attempt to stay cool in the hot summer day. The blond sighed as he waited for his mother to finish depositing her paycheck to the banker.
The book was unbelievably boring. He wasn’t even paying attention, something about a farm and the american dream. It felt like the teacher had no idea as to what she was doing, only giving the students books and packets to work on. Sean’s head slumped against the wall thinking about where he could find summaries of the book online. His blue eyes made their way back to his mom who began to talk to an employee.
No one else was at the bank, only the workers. Which made sense considering they came at closing hours. The sound of a door opening caused Sean to turn his head. A man walked through the door and approached the counter. His jeans were tattered and a grey baseball cap was in his clenched hand. Sean closed his eyes and put his head against the wall once again. There was nothing to do, yet he still felt that his day was being wasted.
The man slumped against the counter and practically growled at the employee, ”Give me as much money as you can carry. Fast! And don’t you dare attempt to call the cops or she gets it!” He dropped the baseball cap revealing a gun and pointed it at Sean’s mother. A grumbled laugh came from the man and his eyes got wider as the employee returned with the money. He placed the gun in his back pocket and started shoving the money into his other pockets as fast as he could. Sean shot up right away and slammed the man against the counter and grabbed his gun. ”Mom hurry! Call the cops! Do something!” He cried. Sean backed up against the wall and pointed the gun at the man's head. The man laughed hysterically as he turned around to face Sean, his hand reached into his hoodie pocket pulling out a new pistol and pointing it back at Sean. ”Come on kid, place the gun down. Here if I give you this pretend it never happened.” He threw a small stack of money at the blond and pointed the gun at Sean’s mother letting a bullet go through her chest.
Sean’s eyes widened in shock, the blond screamed as he pointed the gun at the man, letting the bullet fly without hesitation. He stood up and pulled the trigger a few more times, making sure they pierced straight through his chest. A wicked grin was plastered to his face as the blood drained out of the man's body. The man fell to his knees, gasping for air that wouldn't stay in his lungs. Blood puddled around him spreading out across the floor.
The employees stood behind the counter, shocked at the scene, there was nothing they could do now other than call the police which were already on their way. A woman's voice spoke up drawing Sean’s attention, ”Y-you’re a monster.” The words rang in Sean’s head as he turned to face his mother. His grin slowly faded as the gun fell out of his hand, he collapsed to his knees tears racing down his cheeks.
Sirens blared in the background as the police and ambulance burst through the door. His mother was raised up onto a gurney, ready to be lifted out of the building. Sean scrambled to stand up and reach his mother’s side as the men pushed the gurney towards the truck. His mother's cold eyes pierced into Sean, ”Monster…” His steps slowly came to a stop as he watched the ambulance drive away.
ooc; there is more I want to add but that requires work

| The heavy feeling of suffocation lifted off Jillian's chest and for a moment she felt relaxed and serene. That didn't last for long. She felt herself being pulled into a new world of mixed feelings and a lack of stimulation. Quick images flickered through her mind, some she was able to comprehend, others were nothing but small flashes of colors. The images revealed a quick scene to her; that of a blond boy, holding something, in a building. Someone stood at a counter area and another figure entered the scene. The aura around them was dark and foreboding and Jillian felt a sense of fear trickling through her body. She shut her eyes tight, trying to dispel the feeling, but it wouldn't go away. Several scenes continued to flash before her, but she tried to ignore them. However, her attention was abruptly taken back to the images when a sense of adrenaline began to flood into her. The images became less clear and she could only make out flashes of quick, impulsive movements and the now overwhelming sight of scarlet. As the images faded, the adrenaline dissipated and Jillian was left feeling drained and melancholic. Although the exact events were a blur, she couldn't help but feel that she just saw the turning point in someone's life. The mix of leftover fear and fresh emotional pain she felt bore down on her and she felt like she couldn't escape. Her mind was a cage that trapped her in with these unwanted emotions and Jillian wanted nothing more than to find the key and escape. Her body began to shift restlessly and she took several moments to readjust herself into a comfortable position. Once he found it, she simply lay there, letting the emotions wreak havoc on her psyche. Her brain felt exhausted from the strain of the events and she simply waited for them to leave her alone. | |

| Sean's chest heaved as he tried to regain his breath, sure he had flashbacks of the bad memories before, but it's never been that much of the memory. Sean gripped his chest as a few tears flowed down his face, he quickly wiped them away as he glared at Jillian. If only she didn't get drunk that night, if only he stayed with her after, if only he didn't take her out, then it would have all been avoided! But for some reason things like to torment him, cause him to suffer as others are harmed because of him. Sean winced as he recalled his mother disowning him, her cold eyes still pierced his mind. He let out a shaky breath, how does Paige view him? Like a monster? Most likely, that's what everyone else likes to think. His mind wouldn't stop racing, causing his heart to race faster and his breaths to be more ragged. He shot up of the bench and turned to leave, casting one last glance at Jillian. It was up to her now to get better, he was only a burden for her. Sean turned away and pushed the door open letting a soft click sound behind him as the door closed.
ooc; sorry for not posting, busy weekend.

| The stress inducing emotions left Jillian and she felt the tension in her mind and body finally release. Her entire body relaxed on the bed and she began to wake a little. Her golden eyes were still shut tightly, but she could hear ragged breathing to her side. Soon it was gone and after a small click Jillian knew she was alone again. Sighing, she shifted around a little, attempting to get into a comfortable position. The shifting led to a sharp stab of pain in her chest and she stopped short, holding her breath for just a moment. Jillian let her body relax again and she simply lay there, unmoving and barely breathing. The strain of the events had gotten to her deeply and her mind wandered to whatever else she could think of; anything that would distract her from the mental pain. Soon enough, her thoughts slipped away and she focused on nothing. Jillian was in the moment between sleeping and waking, and she was enjoying every second of the suspended feeling of nothingness that consumed her.
((Sorry about the super late post, things have been very busy and stressful for me lately XC))
