Rich Boy (Open)

Gabriel stepped out of his car and slammed the door shut behind him, not caring enough to say goodbye to his chauffeur.  It miffed him that his parents didn't want to even drive him to his new school, but it didn't surprise him.  His parents haven't cared for so many years it would be a surprise to see them actually doing something for their children.But Gabriel didn't want to think about that now, no, he'd much rather focus on his first day at Beata Academy, the school for super-powered kids.  
More like the school for freaks whose parents don't want them, he thought bitterly to himself.
He shook the thoughts from his head and walked forward through the gates.  The picturesque entrance was truly beautiful and impeccably well-kept.  Even the school buildings looked grandiose and expensive, just the way Gabriel likes it.  Its beauty even rivals his home in Beverly Hills, although he was probably just sick of his lonely house.  He looked forward and noticed a large, pretty fountain in front of him.  Gabriel walked up to it, but is stopped short when he nearly runs into someone walking past.
"Hey, watch it!" He snarled.

Gabriel hadn't been watching where he was going when he ran into the rude boy. "Oh, sorry mate. Wasn't looking where I was going." he said. The way the boy said "Watch it" made Gabe think that this boy wasn't going to be apologizing any time soon, but he still wanted to be polite.

Gabriel eyed the student in front of him carefully.  His blue eyes and blond hair were strikingly similar to Gabriel's own.  For a moment, he wondered if he was hallucinating again, but once the boy spoke he knew it wasn't.  His hallucinations haven't been that vivid for years.  Yhe sudden appearance of this student had thrown Gabriel off and he almost didn't catch what the boy said.  Thus, he simply huffed at the other student and straightened his posture, slightly miffed and slightly embarrassed that he was in this situation.  
It was rather odd that the fountain had distracted him; he never truly appreciated beauty, he simply knew how to comment to others about it to make a good impression.  It was a skill that had been instilled in him by his parents and he hated it.  Despite the fact that he didn't really appreciate the beauty of the campus, he was still drawn in by the gorgeously haunting architecture that pulled him closer, wishing to explore its depths and secr-
Oh, shut up!  I can't stand it when you get poetic! Gabriel flinched slightly at the rude voice in his head and snapped his attention back to the student in front of him.  He decides to start the day off on a good foot, more or less, and sighs before saying,
"Hey, can you show me where the office is?"  Of course he already has the school map memorized, but he can't help but feel the need to be nice to at least one person at this school.

The Summer nodded, slightly confused at the sudden change of tone. "Uhh.. sure. Right this way." he said, motioning for the boy to follow. Maybe the boy had a side effect of his gift where he would have mood swings or something. Gabriel shrugged it off as he turned to make sure the other boy was following. "My name's Gabriel, by the way. Pleasure to meet you." he added with a smile.

Gabriel followed the fellow student a few paces behind, still soaking in the overall atmosphere of this incredible school. His mood had begun to lighten a little, after all, being here meant less time with his family. Gabriel was startled slightly once the other boy introduced himself, for they had the same name.
"Oh, uh, my name is Gabriel too," He was still a little shocked by the coincidence, but he kind of liked it. I
t was interesting that something like this happened to him on the first day. However, this event made Gabriel a little more hopeful for what's to come in the future here at Beata, and hope is certainly something he runs short of nowadays.
"So, how long have you been at Beata?" Gabriel asked curiously.

Gabriel chuckled. "What a coincidence." he said. "I've been at Beata since... last September, I think." Had it really been that long since he arrived? It felt like only a couple weeks. "Time really flies while you're here, it seems." he added.

Gabriel nodded politely at the student's response as the two walked into the front office. He felt kind of strange, being at this school. They say it's a great school for powered humans, but he's not sure if it's quite the right school for him. The overall aesthetic of the school is nowhere near the prestigious private schools that he used to attend in Beverley Hills.
"I certainly hope it does," Gabriel muttered almost to himself in response to the other Gabriel's comment.
You don't belong here A voice whispered in the back of his mind. Gabriel began to tug at the longer strands of his blond hair as he tried to banish the voice from his mind.

Gabe motioned towards the office. "Well, here we are!" he said. "It was nice meeting you, Gabriel. And so we can tell the difference between us, I'll call you Gabriel, and I usually go by Gabe." He remembered when he first got here and had to go to the office. He was pretty nervous, talking to the office people. But everything went perfectly fine. And he hasn't regretted coming here once since he arrived.
