Beata's new simulation is an interesting one, a simulation game to test the skills of students in survival situations. How can they function with their power under the pressure of a high-intensity situation? Who is the strongest student in the school? This new simulation, entitled 'The Battle Royale,' will test this. Students will strap into chairs where they will be provided sustenance through tubes; after all, they'll need it, because they will not be leaving those chairs any time soon. The objective of the game is to be the last one standing; it will require students to survive, fight, and kill or be killed. They will feel pain, hunger, cold; any situation they find themselves in within the simulation, though they will not be harmed in real life. The last man standing will receive 200 BB (pending the approval of our lovely admins of course I love you please don't deny this. ;;).
Blue areas are water, beige areas are sand, green areas are forest (with some clearings), and gray areas are high stony lands. The arena is surrounded by a forcefield that will kill you instantly and inflict the worst pain you will ever experience.
On the map, each player starts in E7, on one of many small platforms surrounding one large, metal platform. You may move to any vertical or horizontal square, but it will take one post to do so. This means that on this map, your character must know how to swim to escape the middle. If you are fighting someone, you obviously aren't moving anywhere unless you are running away, but that probably won't end well for you anyhow.
If two characters are on two different squares, they can not come in contact with each other.
As the game master, I will be in charge of either helping or screwing you guys over. I will scatter random supply drops around the map. For example; at the beginning of the game, I may announce: "There are supply drops on A5, B2, C9, E7, F4, F9, H11, I1, I7, I9, J2, and J13." There will always be 12 supply drops, and there will always be a supply drop on E7. However, you'll probably have to fight for that one.
Other than that, you can make weapons by hand, but they'll always be
Tier 1. They must also be one of the Tier 1 weapons, as to restrict people from making a wooden machine gun or some dumb shit.
The weapons available are:
Tier 1:Fists (you start off with these, of course)
Stick (handmade)
Stone Axe (handmade)
Stone Knife (handmade)
Rock (handmade)
Club (handmade)
Wooden Spear (handmade)
Tier 2:Swiss Knife
Iron Spear
Shuriken x5
Nun-chunks
Cleaver
Brass Knuckles
Crowbar
Baseball Bat
Tier 3:Bowie Knife
Machete
Composite Bow
Tomahawk
Hatchet
Blowgun (10 poison darts)
Tier 4:Sledgehammer
Handgun (1 bullet)
Javelin
Morningstar
Longsword
Katana
Weapons a higher tier will always beat those a lower tier head-on. However, fights are RPed, so if you can be clever, maybe you can win with a lower one. However, don't godmod. As gamemaster, I don't take kindly to godmodders, and may go out of my way to kill you.
I have the power to deploy traps and to bring people closer together with various hazards. I may employ lava, poisonous gas, etc. etc. I also have the power to control the time. I may occasionally point out what time it is.
Other than that, the game is yours. Feel free to form alliances, RP character struggles, find out sleeping arrangements, incite your own drama, stuff like that. If you are killed, feel free to RP your character waking up and/or watching the simulation on the broadcast screen in the room with all the chairs. Any details I have left out can be filled in by you.
If you would like to sign up, say so below with your character. You may only sign up one character. Entree cap is 13.
