New Surroundings {Closed}

Sera's face was half-covered by her hands as she sat cross-legged on a bench. A small bag with her sketchbook and a couple pencils sat beside her, her iPod sitting on her knee. She had headphones in her ears and her hair was held back loosely in a ponytail. Her eyes stared down at the ground as a swirling storm of gray clouds swarmed overhead. She absolutely hated that she couldn't control her gift yet. The anger burned inside of her, but she couldn't let loose in fear of what a terrible storm could arise. The temperature around drifted from cold to warm a few times, and the clouds dispersed, soon replaced by sunshine. Her concentration was focused on perfecting her gift, but she knew that'd take a long, long time. She let go of her face and clenched her fist, an old song playing in her ears. Finally, just finally, she made sunshine. The temperature grew warm and she smirked. Ha! I did it. Look at me now, Crissie!

She pulled out her sketchbook and sketched the field around her. It was a little sloppy, but she practised every day. The sound of footsteps caused her to look up with quite a bit of surprise, and a gust of wind blew her hair. She gazed at the person near her, silent. Well, say something! She quickly examined the man in front of her, waiting a moment before saying 'hello'.

What a wonderful day. Renji walked to the courtyard holding a binder full of lined paper and sheet music. As usual, the tall student wore his school uniform, but today he put his orange hair up in a ponytail. Each day the weather seemed to improve and so did his mood. A cool breeze blew around him and as he looked up the the sky, a few clouds covered the sun before the huge ball of light soon reappeared. Continuing to walk, the Winter looked around, trying to find the best spot to set up camp.

Humming a new tune he'd been composing, he turned a corner, to see a girl sitting on a bench. She seemed to be drawing something, and instantly caught Renji's interest. He always loved girls that were in touch with the arts. "Guess we both have the same idea." The charming student said with a smile.

OOC - Sorry! Thought I should use Renji instead so it would be more interesting :D (also Bridget on a mission right now, so it's not the best time to use her)

IC- Sera lit up with a smile, glad someone approached her instead of approaching them. "Hm. Seems so." She replied. He had a very interesting structure- she always loved that about people. The uniqueness of bodies and the ways that people took care of themselves. Her eyes flickered to his binder. "'Cha got there?" She asked with regained confidence, not knowing her wind had eased quite well. Her accent still burned through her words and though she hated it, she had accepted it might never go away now. So, she waited for his reply, hooded eyes gazing with interest.

Standing in front of the girl, Renji gave a innocent, puppy like smile and titled his head. Not really waiting for her to invite him to sit down, the tall student sat down. "Oh this thing? Just some sheet music I've been working on." He chuckled. "What about that?" He looked to the sketch that the girl was holding.

"Oh, cool," She said, a bright look in her eyes. "Oh, this is just my sketchbook. I like to sketch landscapes and the sky, as you can see." She explained, leaning the sketchbook over to face him. She blushed, just slightly, and smiled.

Setting down the binder beside him, he looked to the girl. She seemed like the silent type, but the way that she looked at him, Renji assumed that he was something that she liked to see. Leaning back against the bench, the Winter relaxed, enjoying the day even more now that he was with a cute girl. "That's cool, I've always loved people that enjoy the arts." He chuckled. Part of him wanted to ask what her power was, but it was such a generic question, he might as well wait a little bit.

She chuckled at his response a bit. "Heh. Yeah, they're pretty nice. It's like a relaxation tactic- or, rather, an escape." She cast a glance at his binder again. "Do you like writing sheet music?" She asked quietly.

Renji looked down to his binder of empty music. "I love writing music, but I've had a bit of writer's block lately, and think it's because of my new surroundings." After he spoke, Renji realized how dumb it sounded. "I mean, I'm just not used to being here, ya know?" The student gave a goofy smile, hoping she would understand.

"Ah, yeah, I getcha." She responded, nodding her head. "So, how are you adjusting to Beata?" She asked, taking back to her sketch for a moment.

"Well, at first I thought that I'd hate it here, but with you around, it isn't so bad." He said in a cute, yet innocent way. Renji had always been a charming flirt, but only gave meaningful compliments to the more special ladies.

Oh, God. Was she blushing? She was. She held back a giggle of amusement. She made a relaxed expression. Her flirting style was a bit different- now, did he want to flirt? She guessed so. "Same here with you," she replied with a wink. She giggled a bit, in more of a playful tone. If he could laugh, perhaps she'd hold more of a keen interest.

Usually Renji didn't cling on to one girl, and instead just kinda roamed around flirting. Though for some reason, this girl made him happy. Plus, seeing her smile and laugh made him like her a hundred times more. They barely knew each other and were already laughing together, how odd. "Ya know, you're pretty cool." He chuckled, not able to hold back a laugh. "I know we just met, but would, uh, you like to hang out again sometime?" Renji said with a somewhat awkward smile, rubbing the back of his neck.
