The pink, leather bound book has a small sticker where a name can be written. The name "Nicole Delver," written in stylized cursive, is crossed out, and the name "Luke Cartmann" replaces it in sloppy handwriting. The pages are worn, and a multitude of pages are ripped out in the beginning. The spine is wrapped in tape. The book is obviously many years old. A small note is glued to the inside cover:
Lucas,
I think you'll find it useful to write in this diary every few days. By the end of the school year, you should be able to fill it! This is my diary from when I was a student here, sorry for the used up pages! I love you, and don't forget to write.
