Just a little quiet~

Luna looked up at the night sky, the girls' icey eyes were easy to notice in the night-time darkness. She had went to the forest at this type of night, because she couldn't find sleep. She had of coarse, taken her Cello. She took it out of it's case, and started to play.

She had no clue someone had came here, but as she played her beautiful music, she started to get the feeling that someone was there.

Rahner sat cross-legged in the grass, reclining against the soft bark of a t r e e as he looked up at the bright shining of the stars. The view struck him as odd - almost magic-enhanced - because the same stars he saw before him had never held as bright of a sheen as they did now. Sighing contentedly as he was lulled by the melody flowing the the forest, the blonde sat up from his comfortable bed of grass. He couldn't stand being in his dorm longer than necessary - it was too, too crowded and small. Claustrophobia had haunted him, and so Rahner had been forced to spend what hours remained outside, where a vast area spread in front of him.

Getting to his feet after the nap, Rahner walked slowly toward the origin of the music he was audience to. Though the Autumn House member wasn't exactly social, he felt the need to thank her for the show - and maybe be as friendly as he'd promised his parent's he'd be. After being a social outcast all his life due to his...'gifts', Rahner felt a certain pull to do something he had been forbidden to before.

Phasing through the trees (and staggering a bit as he got stuck in the wood), Rahner spotting the girl - Luna, was it? - and cautiously watched from afar. He was sure that the other Autumn House member noticed him, but preferred her to be the one to approached him. Old habits die hard.

Luna- who had finished playing, slid her Cello away. Her long black hair, was hidden in the dark, but whoever saw her could spot it if they looked carefully. She looked over to the area where who she thought was one of her roommates, Rahner, was. The girls' eyes, gave off a stare, that was hard for anyone to read. "Hello." She said as she approached Rahner cautiously. But she looked like she was just walking over to him. "I'm Luna. Are you Rahner?" she asked.

Rahner, when addressed, nodded curtly to confirm her question. As she approached, Rahner felt sort of a chilling sensation as he looked at her eyes, which surfaced a few questions in him that he felt rude to ask.

"Yes." he said, as if he hadn't nodded. "And you're Luna, correct? I've been listening to you for a while." He commented, finding himself looking away from her, face flushed. Even if he wouldn't admit it, he was sort of shy when it came to girls - especially his roommate, whom he had observed multiple times and avoided her seemingly ominous gaze.

Luna nodded in reply. "Yes, that is who I am." She saw Rahner look away, and she felt a little guilty; But she couldn't help on how her gaze was icey. "You w-w-were?!?" She asked. The only other person who had ever heard her play, was Sean. But, she felt a little happy that now others have heard her, and she didn't have to keep her talent such a secret.

She looked down, as if embarrassed because he had heard her play. She was happy; but at the same time, she felt a little shy, but not much.

Rahner nodded mutely again, still feeling a little shy about avoiding her gaze. It was probably rude of him to do so, but he had a difficult time looking into her eyes with flinching. Though he liked listening to his roommate, and observing her as she played, he couldn't help but avoid her - maybe it was a certain shyness. But the sheepish blonde knew that he should at least try to be her friend - they were like neighbors, and in the same House!

"You're very good."he replied, wondering if he was saying the right things "I can only sketch - and how much does that amount to?"

Luna blushed, her black hair wrapping around her as she looked down. "Thanks..." She just had to smile at the part when he said he could sketch- "Well, it means you can do something cool." She answered. But after repeating what he said for a few times, she looked up. "Wait- You've heard me before?!?" The question just came out. If he had been, oh crap. She'd be freaked. When did he first start?!? How much has he heard? These were questions to think about later, though.

Rahner whipped his head around and caught her eyes as he heard the alarmed tone of her voice, making the already shy blonde feel self-conscious. He had felt flattered when she called his hobby 'cool', and had started to relax a bit until he stiffened again at her question. Once again feeling a chill, Rahner took a few moments to work up the nerve to answer her question.

"...Y-yes. I o-often come here to listen. Your music is beautiful." he admitted, once again looking at the ground. He felt himself shrink inside of him. Not having the nerve to say more, he waited for her reaction.

Luna looked at him. She felt comforted at him saying that it was nice, but wait- Was he, flirting with her? Naah. Not at all likely. She smiled, and tried to think of something to do. "Thanks..." Was all she could say. She couldn't think of anything, and she fixed her black hair so that instead of it being in her face, it was resting on her back.

After realizing what he said, Rahner blushed profusely, turning away once again. He mumbled a barely audible "You're welcome." as he did so. The forest was one of his favorite places in the school - and the constant presence of the melody only supported his partial opinion. He had never spoken this long to a girl - or anybody, for that matter - and was unsure if he was doing something wrong, as he noted her wordlessness.

"I-I'm sorry for watching without asking." Rahner stuttered shyly, breaking the silence.

Luna still had a smile on her face. She had noticed that Rahner didn't look at her often, and she figured it was because of her eyes. "It's alright." She replied. It really was honestly, she had realized it not to long ago. "I notice you don't look at me often, I'm not thinking your rude or anything, but do my eyes bug you?" She asked. She wanted to know; because she'd try to not make it look as taunting and evil-like.

Rahner averted his eyes again, before relaxing slightly at her tone. She didn't seem to be angry. "N-no! Not 'b-bug' me!" he assured her hasitly. "T-they're just a little cold, that's all."

Luna relaxed abit, and she was grateful that he told her. "Alright.. yeah, I can't seem to help that part, but I try..." She replied. Her gaze always was cold, but the color of her eyes made it that way.

For a moment Rahner seemed to stiffen, as if realizing exactly what he was saying. He wasn't shy - or shouldn't be, he just didn't enjoy talking to people and inevitably ruining their day. Certainly, if this was his first shot at making friends, he should try and leave a more honest impression.

Also to reassure Luna and make her a little more comfortable with herself, Rahner returned his head and met her gaze, finding it a little easier to bear knowing that she felt self-conscious of it. "Where are you from?" he asked quietly, awkwardly putting forth his hand to shake, as he had seen others do.

Luna smiled, as she took his hand and shook it lightly back. "I'm from Indiana in the USA. You?" She asked. She still forced her smile a little, as she felt a little happier to be around him, because she was starting to make more friends. As she took a step back, she realized that it was a full-moon. She looked up at it, and as she did, her crescent shaped-moon necklace was visible.
