Bastien loved nature. Often this meant he would spend his time on the grounds around Beata and in the forest, but Bastien figured it would be worth his time to check out the conservatory with its plants and wonders. It was bound to be as beautiful as the forest.
Stepping in Bastien was proven right. Many of the plants didn't have flowers but all of the plants were wonderful to behold. There had always been a certain silent beauty in nature that Bast had to appreciate. Being incapable of using his voice without potentially hurting someone meant that any silent situation that could present itself with such presence was one to be admired. Leaning forward he stroked the leaves of the plant before him, humming softly to himself, inspired by the plants around him. His voice was soft, though it crackled every once in a while due to lack of use. But the plants spoke to him as if his gift was plant manipulation or something. It was too bad it wasn't, but Bastien liked being able to be close to plants without a reason why.
