Impetokinesis: The ability to alter mechanics of motion of a moving object, or propel a stationary object into motion at superhuman speeds, by creating, altering or stealing impulse or momentum. Impulse depends on two factors, Force and the Time for which the Force is applied, and is equal to the Change in Momentum, which is proportional to the size (mass) and speed (velocity) of a moving object (Impulse = Change in Momentum | F • t = m • ∆v). The speeds at which Annan can propel objects are therefore dependent on the time for which Annan remained in contact with the object, the size of the object (the bigger the object, the greater the speed with which it is propelled), the initial speed (if already moving) of the objects themselves, and the force Annan applied (if he punches a rock, he is using greater Force than simply touching that rock). If Annan touches an object for a long enough period of time, without interruption or breaking concentration, he could generate an Impulse so intense that the object shoots forth fast enough to break the sound barrier. The limitations are that Annan must completely envelop the target object in his force-field once he touches it in order for it to move, so his power is restricted to smaller objects that can be fully enveloped, a large bus or truck being his limit. Similarly, as momentum is a vector, Annan can also control the initial direction in which he propels an object. If Annan manages to touch a moving object, he can manipulate their motion; either speeding them up or slowing them down or changing their direction, the 'sudden-ness' of whatever change he induces once again dependant on the initial speed and size of the target object itself (the faster the object was moving, the more suddenly it will stop if slowed down, or the more exponentially its speed would increase if sped up).
