Carl is the stereotypical youngest child- he acts out and rarely gets punished, he associates with people he doesn't enjoy just to seem older, he always gets what he wants, and he's determined to be incredibly different than his siblings and parents. Despite this, he's fairly outgoing to new people and is rather friendly and easy-going whenever he isn't around Caine.

He's a classic fire starter who enjoys constantly acting out and messing with certain people for his own amusement- although he rarely takes it very far due to the fact that he's incredibly lazy. On top of being a lazy little asshole, Carl also struggles greatly when it comes to his relationship with his older brother Caine. While he loves his older brother for the most part, it is incredibly difficult for most people to realize that due to the fact that all he does is reject and fight Caine on a daily basis. 

Carl is a tall and skinny teen who seeems to be growing taller every day. He has flawless and rather dark naturally tanned skin that's dotted with the occasional sparse freckle patches. He has a slightly rounded face with a sharp jaw, straight nose, full lips, and bright blue eyes. He also has nicely shaped and naturally dark brown eyebrows.

Carl has rather long, curly, silky-soft dark brown hair that falls just past his ears and towards his neck. He usually leaves it wild and untamed, rarely working up the energy to wash it, let alone style it, but it somehow magically retains a somewhat acceptable look.

Born to Fiona and Brian Mallon in late fall in the ghettos of west Chicago, Carl was born into an unfortunate life that would seem truly terrible to most. He only got to experience the undoubtedly terrible parts of life as his family struggles to make meets end, although it never bothered him very much. While Caine despised fighting for the scraps his family survived on, Carl simply learned to appreciate life as it came since he never knew anything else in his life.

However, one day by a stroke of good fortune, the Mallon family was suddenly in possession of more money than they had ever owned before. This enabled them to escape the slums of Illinois and move to a much better part of the state, much to Carl's dismay and anger. While Caine was elated by this sudden lifestyle change, Carl was anything but- he didn't want to leave behind the only home he had known. After his parents seemingly uprooted their entire family without a bat of an eye, he began to act out more and more in an attempt to show his parents how he felt.

One fateful night at a party Carl just happened to be attending, he managed to discover his power while simply getting beaten into the dust by several other kids also attending said party. Although he managed to keep his abilities a secret from everyone else at the party, his friends, and even Caine, his parents soon found out and sent him to the prestigious Beata Academy. While he was initially relieved at leaving his family behind, Carl soon found out that his older brother Caine had also started to attend the shortly after Carl himself did.

Vivian is an absolute ray of sunshine who couldn't hurt a fly, no matter how annoying it is. It's like she lacks the ability to see negative traits in the people she knows because she's constantly forgiving them and doing her best to make them content. She's a very happy, playful, and well adjusted individual who rarely struggles with any sort of negative feelings in her own mind and it truly does take a massive effort to make her unhappy with herself.

On top of being constantly happy and playful, Vivian is also rather naive and struggles to see the actual hardships in life- it's almost like she lives in her own little world where concepts like danger and terrible people don't exist. All she wants to do in life is have fun and be the hopeless romantic she's always wanted to be.

Vivian is a short and rather skinny young girl who could easily be described as "naturally beautiful". She has soft, blemish-free skin which is more fair than anything else, but is at least somewhat tanned for the most part. She has a naturally rounded face with full cheeks that are usually flushed, naturally high cheekbones and full lips. Born to Alison and Joseph Navarro in late spring in the bustling city of Austin, Texas, Vivian was the second youngest child among her three other siblings. Unlike the majority of students attending Beata, Vivian was lucky enough to have a seemingly normal childhood without any issues whatsoever. Growing up, she had a regular home life, was fairly close to both her sisters and her brother, had standard birthday parties and social interactions, always did well in school, and rarely had to struggle with the weight of any sort of responsibilities or problems.

Due to Vivian's uneventful and completely normal life, she was never raised with the belief that she was special or different- which was a large reason she never even realized she was actually gifted. She was decently successful in both her academics and social life so she never really gained any sort of hopeful dreams for her future. However, as she and her siblings all grew older, her relationship with her older brother Aiden became strained for unknown reasons. As Aiden became estranged, cold, and prone to violent fits of anger, Vivian quickly became distanced from her brother much to her dismay.

Shortly after the sibling relationship between Vivian and Aiden became fragile, Vivian was able to discover her measly gift by accident- although she still doesn't know exactly how she discovered it or how to use it effectively. Seemingly only a few short days after discovering her power, she was suddenly sent away to the esteemed and mysterious Beata Academy. Although Vivian was initially hesitant to live so far away from home and away from her family and close friends, she quickly settled in very well and became close friends with a troubled boy name Caine.

As a product of terrible circumstances, Aaliyah is a cold and distant young girl who often comes across as proud and incredibly rude. She struggles greatly with the concept of opening up to others or making friends due to her seeming unwillingness to let people in. On top of this, she can also be very aggressive and opinionated.

However despite her crass and rude behavior, Aaliyah has a heavily guarded sensitive and insecure side. Once you break away the rough and frigid exterior that she has created, you'll find a fragile and aimless girl. She rarely exposes this side due to the fact that she believes it to be revealing a great weakness in herself- so if you get her to open up to you, consider it a massive accomplishment.

Aaliyah is a tall and already buxom young woman who has lovely pale skin that's dotted with the occasional sparse freckling and a few other natural blemishes and markings. She has a narrow face with high cheekbones, a sharp nose, full lips and a prominent chin. Her pale green eyes are rather large in proportion to the rest of her features, but they look lovely nonetheless, and are framed thickly with light red eyelashes. Aaliyah also has well groomed, high-arching red brows that are often filled in due to how light they are.

She has a full head of long, slightly curly bright red hair that's naturally highlighted with various undertones of different shades of reds and browns. It's often brushed to immaculate perfection without a single strand of hair out of place and it often looks as close to perfection as hair can get. Aaliyah's hair falls just below her lower back whenever it's not tied up in a complicated hairstyle.

Born to Mariana & Alexander Dayne in the rundown and hardly active town of Flint, Michigan, Aaliyah grew up in a less than pleasant home environment. Her mother, Mariana, suffered greatly from Postpartum Depression while her father, Alexander, spent the majority of his time in a nearby dive bar. Forced to grow up to take care of her seemingly incapacitated parents, the young Aaliyah was quickly sapped of what little joy she had experienced in her short life.

Whenever Aaliyah was just a mere nine years old, her mother's Postpartum Depression increased exponentially after she suffered from a particularly violent miscarriage. Overcome with grief, Mariana killed herself and Aaliyah was unfortunate enough to discover her body. Afterwards, her relationship with her father rapidly  deteriorated as he delved further into the comforts of alcohol and became but a mere shadow of a presence in her life.

Forced to raise herself, Aaliyah quickly became the cold and crass girl she is known as today. She dropped out of high school to work to support both herself and her alcoholic father. Shortly thereafter, she learned that she had a 'gift'- although the extent of her powers were still unknown to her. Once her father learned this, Aaliyah was quickly sent away to Beata; although leaving behind her shit homelife wasn't exactly hard for her.
