Incoming [Open]

It had been so long. A dragon circled above, but it wasn't the same dragon that people had seen around the school and probably in the tourney. This one was different. It was skeletal. It's bones stained and dirty. Rotten flesh that didn't smell, clung on the skinny bones of the wings. It circled in the sky once before diving and landing on the ground. Setting down the bag it carried with it.

The small skeletal dragon dug it's claws into the ground for a moment before the whole thing was gone in a flash. In it's place stood a small girl. Her now longer blonde hair hung at her shoulders, her blue eyes stared at the school. "Ah! It's so great to be back." The girl said to no one in particular. She was so ready to start at the school again.

"Well, that's definitely one way to make an entrance." Came a chuckle from nearby. A young man lowered his hand from where it had been shielding his eyes from the sunlight as he had watched the young girl fly around and land. He rearranged his bangs and hitched his own bag higher on his shoulder as he approached her.
"I'm Jamie and I just enrolled, and you are?" he asked with a skinny hand extended to greet her properly.

Vivian had been out collecting a few necessities whenever she had managed to catch sight of the massive creature flying high above them. Her mouth had dropped into a perfect 'O' shape as she watched the skeletal shape of a dragon circle high above them and her eyes were wide with amazement. She continued to watch the creature for as long as it hung heavily in the air above them, her attention only drifting for a brief moment to push back several long strands of hair. Not even the sight of stained bones and partially rotten flesh could deter her newfound adoration of whoever or whatever was behind the Dragon. Practically abandoning her things in her rush of excitement, Vivian found herself eagerly rushing towards where the massive creature had landed. 

Although maybe she shouldn't of just took off running towards wherever the dragon-person had landed because it was a painfully long wind that left her rather winded. She arrived just in time to see the massive outline skeletal dragon vanish instantly, leaving only a blonde girl in its place.Pausing for a moment to catch her breath, Vivian had to place her palms on her knees as her astounded gaze switched back and forth between Janya and Jaime. A beaming grin spread across her slightly flushed face as she continued to inhale abnormally short breaths. Vivian managed to squeeze in a welcoming wave to Jaime as she caught wind of his name but her attention remained fully directed on the other girl.  "Are you-", She wheezed, "Are you really a dragon?" She eagerly questioned with hopeful eyes.

The summer girl blinked when she heard someone else speak up, turning the blonde faced the boy. Noticing his hand she took it and shook it."Oh! Nice to meet you. I'm Janya, I'm actually a student here." She was about to say more but another girl appeared seeming rather excited about her gift. She dropped the boy's hand, her blue eyes falling on Vivian.

"Yeah I actually am." She said with a smile on her face. "Well more like an undead dragon seeing how I turn into the skeletal version of one." The summer explained to the girl. Hoping that would satisfy her enough that she would calm down and catch her breath. "I'm guessing your a student here?" She asked Viv, knowing that Jamie was already new here.

Jamie smiled politely and gave a little wave to the new girl whom Janya was now speaking to. After seeing such a fantastical gift in use, he could not help but begin to let his mind wander over the seemingly endless list of possibilities. I bet there are people here who can make fire in the palm of their hands. Or can breathe underwater. Or, maybe even see the future, or read minds, or something. The last thought made him pause for a moment, all emotion from his face dropping. I wonder if there is someone here who can take away memories... He knew it sounded preposterous, but it would not hurt to ask.
With a clearing of his throat to help compose himself, he brought himself back to Janya's side. "So, you said you're a student here, right? So you must know some of the other people with super cool gifts. Do you think you could tell me about them? Oh, or, better yet, do you think I could meet some of them?"

Forcing herself to take a few more deep breaths in an attempt to recover from her sizable run, Vivian quickly forced herself upright from her bent over position and ignored the sharp cramp in her side as she continued to watch Janya and Jamie converse about something that didn't really fully capture her attention. "Mhmm, I'm a student!" She hummed, slightly caught off guard by the sudden question, before nodding eagerly. A dragon! An undead dragon! This had to be the coolest gift she had come across so far since she had first arrived at Beata. A wide smile spread across the girl's face as she stared at Janya with a varying mixture of emotions, although the most prominent one was awe. "An undead dragon- that's so cool." Vivian breathlessly admitted, reaching up to run her fingers through her hair absently as she spoke, "I've always wanted to see a dragon."

As Jamie began speaking once more, Vivian quieted down some and resided to simply listen to the newer student speak, continuing to absently run her fingers through her hair as she waited. "Well you've met us-" She began with a new softer smile as she looked at Jamie, "But I'm sure we could introduce you to some people around here. But you could just as easily meet new people by bumping into them." Vivian finished with a slight shrug, not even realizing she had used the word 'we' in reference to herself and Janya- apparently this was a team effort now.

If the girl was a student here before, then how come she didn't see a dragon til now? He cousin still went here didn't she? Hmm oh well it wasn't that important. "I'm glad you think my gift is that cool." It was always nice to know someone wasn't scared of her undead form. She would have to find this girl again later to hang out with her.

"Oh well umm.. You might have to the introductions, I haven't been around in a good many months, and I know a lot can change in just a short time. Most of the people I remember are probably gone or something.." Janya informed the other two. Though even if they were gone she still had the fun of meeting new people, and seeing their gifts, like these two. If she had stayed then she might have missed her chance of meeting Viv and Jamie.
