It's Been So Long (Closed)

The blond took his seat, and stayed silent through out the story. Blue eyes held a somber look in them as he listened. It was a slow addiction that grew once she could have a steady ability to drink, it would grow. And it did, as Leo saw. Once she finished, he nodded at her question, and put on a hopeful smile. He wanted to cheer her up, and the only way to do that was give her hope. "But you're strong." His voice was full on conviction. "You'll make it.

"But you're strong... You'll make it."

Those words make the Autumn smile, even though the more somber part of her mind still lingered. "I'm really glad you showed up..." Pushing herself closer to Leo, when she was close enough Keirsta rested her head on his shoulder. "When you first came in... What was it you were going to ask me?" She could only remember slightly of when he had first walked in, she was way too upset to even really register anything around her. But that was one thing she had, since she had halted quite a bit for him to come in... Well, not really, but she picked up a bit. Sort of staring off into the distance once more, her ears were focused on Leo and his answer.

Leo tilted his head at her question. When he first came in? Hmmm... Oh right! "I was going to ask if you wanted to train." he paused to look at the head on his shoulder. "Are you up for it?" Leo didn't want her to do something when she was too tired or upset to do anything like that. However, it may get her mind off of what happened the past hour.

Training? Keirsta snapped out from her little trance when she heard what he was going to ask. She paused to think about it, evaluating it versus just hanging out here and hopefully getting Leo to watch a movie with her. Going out to train would give her a chance to burn off her anger, but then again she didn't want to use it to fuel her gift to be too powerful. The last thing she wanted was to hurt Leo because she was trying to get rid of her emotions though a hopefully less destructive mean. "Sure, why not?"

Leo gave her a smile, and got up from the bed, being careful not to jostle Keista's head from her shoulder. A cheeky grin on his face, as he made his way to the door. He paused there, a hand on the handle. "I'll race you there!" He said suddenly, then yanked the door open and sprinted out of the dorm room, most likely scaring the shit out of her other dorm mates. Not caring too much, he pulled open the next door to the hallway of the dorms and continued his run out of the building. After a bit, he looked back for Keirsta, a laugh on his lips.

As soon as Leo had gotten up, Keirsta raised an eyebrow curiously. But as soon as he had bolted out the door, Keirsta had lept up as well. "Leo! No fair!" She shouted, closing both doors behind her. When she had seen Leo's head-start down the halls, Keirsta felt a warm glow at her hands. The blue aura reached out to grab Leo and send him back to her, all the while she was still running. Using the little trick she had gotten to know, her eyes fixated on the door to the stairs. Not really focusing on Leo anymore, her legs carried her to that door, before she swung it open. Peering over the rails, she pushed her body over it. Jumping down, her feet hit the landing to the next Dormatory, a bit of pain shooting up from the impact, but nevertheless Keirsta did it again... Until she was at the bottom floor. By that time her feet really hurt, and she bit back a cry of pain as she swung that door open. Which, with that, she flung open the door to the outside world, and she was quick to keep moving towards the forest. She threw a glance backwards, somewhat curious where Leo was.

Leo was taken by surprise when he was grabbed, then tossed back to where Keirsta was. "Hey!" He shouted in defiance, a smile on his face. Leo followed close behind Keirsta, following her over the railing, although he jumped in fear as she cried out from the jump. Once she kept going, Leo knew she'd be fine. Once at the bottom and out into the open outside air, Leo sped up. He ran on his toes, which sprung his legs into the air with every strike. The blond gave Keirsta a wave as he raced past, the forest becoming closer and closer. The nearest tree came into view, and slapped it's bark as he passed by "I win~"

Keirsta kept running as fast as she could, but nevertheless, the jump had surely slowed her down some. Giving a fake surprised gasp when Leo passed her up, once she made it into the forest after Leo she gladly slowed down. Panting, she couldn't help but laugh. "That's a first, you know." Standing back up straight, she walked past Leo to go deeper into the forest. While doing to though, she reached out a hand, pressing against the place she knew his wings normally formed. Turning around and smirking devilishly, she started jogging farther into the forest, knowing all too well that he'd get after her for doing that.

At first Leo was confused by Keirsta pressing her hand against the base of where his winds appeared. He hadn't told her that it was a soft spot. So when his wings suddenly appeared inside of his jacket, Leo shouted in surprise. His wings had gotten much bigger since he arrived, and needless to say, he couldn't get his jacket off. Sending a glare at the pink haired girl not too far ahead of him. Leo then leaned forward as if he was bowing, and gripped the helm of the jacket, then pulled it over his head. Once he was out of his clothing prison, the blond threw the jacket to the ground. Leaving it there, he flew off after Keirsta and gently tackled her to the ground. "Not cool! I nearly died taking off my jacket." He exaggerated to Keirsta, an amused look on his face.

Having thrown a glance back towards Leo as she kept bolting off into the forest, if she knew him it wouldn't take him long to get the jacket off. Slowing down once she was a good distance away, when she saw he had escaped she started running again. But, it didn't last very long. Gasping with surprise, it was instinct for Keirsta to reach her hands out to cushion her fall, and they did... Somewhat. Seeing that Leo had still tackled her, his weight still made it to where she had landed all the way onto the forest floor. The fact that his arms were around her didn't help, as she was somewhat stuck where she was. Having to wriggle around a little bit so she could see Leo, and not the ground, she only chuckled at his comment. "In my defense, we never laid down a rule saying I couldn't mess with you." Playfully sticking out her tongue, she couldn't really do anything else. Since you know... She's kinda stuck in Leo's grasp.

Leo gave her a confused look. "How did you to that anyways?" He didn't think it mattered that she did it to mess with him, just how she did it. Leo never knew someone could make his wings appear without him wanting them to? Maybe because it was a sensitive spot? She couldn't have known! He hadn't told her before. Leo leaned his head to the side, so she didn't have to turn in his arms to see him. "Seriously!" There was a laugh in his voice when he spoke, the confused look replaced with an amused smile.

How had she done it? Trying to come up with a bit of an explanation, she could really only use logic to define her answer. "Well, with birds, if you press against the base of their wings, sometimes they unfold. It was somewhat of a lucky guess that when I pressed there, your wings did somewhat of the same thing..." She shrugged, before using her feet to push off of the ground, sliding out from beneath Leo. "You need to work on your grip." Keirsta said in a mocking tone, getting up and looking at Leo's wings. "The tournament did you some good, Leo. I guess your wings grow while you're in intense combat."

Leo gave her a tilt of the head when she tried to explain it. "What, so I'm a bird?" He asked teasingly as she slipped out of his arms. Her taunt cased him to pout. The boy stood up and shrugged his shoulders. "I let you out." He pitifully objected, before listening to her comment about his wings. Looking back at the bright appendages he managed a nodd. It's easy for him to fly with larger wings due to the fact that they slowly grew. Honestly, he barely noticed his wings had grown. "I guess they did." The angel boy muttered to himself.

Keirsta managed to facepalm slightly at his comment about her explanation, and she chuckled when he responded to her comment about his grasp. "Riiight...." She said, laughing afterwards.

Continuing to observe his wings however, one thing that she did notice was that almost all of her pseudo-feathers had been replaced. Hmm, his wings really are growing. Come to mention it, Leo himself had grown too... Something that Keirsta had just noticed. He was practically almost taller then her, if not, her height. Wow, I guess the tournament really did do him some good... Now, she didn't feel as awkward standing next to him. Or by him. Well, I guess it would mean for some fun training, didn't it? "Hey, we didn't come out here to stand around and you tackle me to the ground, now did we? We came out here to train." With that, Keirsta's palms started to glow their normal blue aura, and all around her blue swords appeared. This was her favorite part, using swords and glyphs to fight.

Leo blinked in confusion when swords suddenly appeared around Keirsta. He knew they were going to train, but how was he supposed to fight all those swords? Leo reached for his bow, when he grabbed thin air. He had left his bow in his dorm. All he had was his trench knives which were by his sides. Frowning, he leaped back a few feet, aided by his wings. He equipped his left hand with a trench knife, ready to start.
