The crunch of shoes walking along leaves filled the area as Montare approached, his hands in his pockets with an indifferent expression on his face. A walk through the forest seemed a good idea, for some reason. Maybe it'd make a good way to unwind after clawing and slashing the hell out of a few of the school's poor, poor training dummies? Montare had returned his swords before coming out here; there was no reason to keep them on his person at the time, especially with him growing to be more skilled with using his claws as a weapon as opposed to blades.
Montare was unaware of Nikolayev's presence. At least, until he heard something impact the ground, the wolf ears on his head perking up as he stopped walking and stood still. Looks like keeping himself in a state where his hearing would be enhanced was a good decision, else he probably wouldn't have heard that. Montare turned to the sound, seeing Ilya. His attention was quickly caught by the fact that some parts of him were feline as opposed to human. Was he a shapeshifter? And if not, what was he then?
