| Magic jumped slightly as he heard the roar from the other side. Well at least he knew one of the students that was on the other team. He shook his head clearing the silent curses about his super hearing. He was focused on what he was listening to he was slightly startled when Luke Approached. "Not much is going on.. It doesn't seem like anyone has made any progress either way. Though if any of ours made it across the River it would be hard for me to keep track of em." Honestly the prefect longed to be in the action, that is where he belonged, but his gift wouldn't help his team-mates at all, and his combat skills wouldn't do well against weapons.. Waiting was his only option.
Destiny nodded in Hieta's direction. "Ya got it." She responded before he managed to get way from her. She let the part of her gift that made him visible go slack. She could use that extra energy for more undead. Tho she kept it in her mind that if she was fighting a big enemy she would sacrifice the smaller undead to summon Legado, her giant thirty foot tall skeleton that craved blood shed. Maybe it wasn't such a good idea but it was a good last defense kind of thing.. The necromancer looked towards Brant giving him a smile before looking forward again, listening to the clashes of battle happening.
After Mitch was satisfied with the traps he head set, he decided he would go join the others in the fray. His strings might not be that much of use, but he could always control someone like a puppet if needed, or at least hold someone off so that way a teammate could slip by. Making sure he still had his strings tied around his fingers, he began to move forward to join his teammates. This should be loads of fun.

| Maria should've know he would take the first shot. Dodging the 10 daggers with her amazing ninja skills, most of the missed her except one, which nicked her leg, making a red mark. It stung for a second, but the pain soon went away. Time to try a new trick of mine. She'd been working on something with her power and now was the perfect time to use it. Chucking the blunted ax at Harrison and focusing on the weapon, it soon disappeared into thin air. After a few moments, it reappeared, still flying in the air and slamming into the boys gut. Unfortunately for Maria's entertainment it didn't wound him but would at least knock the wind out of him. | |

| Marcel smirked at his cousin. "You wouldn't be bothered if I borrowed your mind for a moment, would you?" he purred, giving her a sweet smile. Although he was pleased that she hadn't disregared him immediately, and seemed rather interested in what he had to stay, part of it bothered him. Did she have some ulterior motive? Was she less sly and conniving than he previously thought? The initiate couldn't put his finger on it, but he decided to keep his guard up nonetheless. | |

| Seeing his attack get avoided by sick ninja moves he prepared to move to what her attack would be. Guessing from how they started the fight it would be a thrown ax. He had guessed correctly and moved his body and recalled his blades but the ax disappearing made Harrison stop where he had moved to dodged. With the blades still coming towards him the ax appeared and Harrison was knocked back. His blades fell to the ground as Harrison did. 'The hell was that.' Slowly standing up feeling the pain in his chest and gut he looked towards her. As far as powers went he was lost on whatever her power is. Grabbing the two knives he had held back he readied his stance. 'The scythe would take too long to pull out, you're not the only one with tricks.' Copying exactly what she did he ran towards her in a straight line but this time he teleported himself in a different direction and threw one of the knives at her. | |

| With that out of the way, Hieta gave a small nod to acknowledge Destiny's answer before walking off towards the borderline between the two territories. The river was the threshold that he had to cross and that was all. It wasn't like he was determined to win or anything - it didn't matter whether it was a victory or defeat -, it just seemed pointless to go through all of the fighting and such when he could pass right through without anyone being able to stop him. Summer and Spring combined had a rather powerful defense, and if reading through all of the school files meant anything, the initiates themselves were a forced to be reckoned with as well. Autumn and Winter paled in comparison with only the second-place winner of the tournament being their true defense unless he wasn't as smart as Hieta had assumed and he had gone to join the offense and leave their base vulnerable.
That didn't stop much. Sound manipulation did nothing to a being that was practically an apparition. No sound meant no detecting that he was there. It was clear that the Autumns, with the most rowdy and wild students, would be going on with a full-blown attack. Electric manipulators, an artist who could bring drawings to reality, the healer, a power replicator, gift negater, demon, and whatever else. There were many, but it seemed none of them had an ability that dealt with the dead. Good. Destiny was the only one. If the odds played out correctly, then Summer and Spring would come out victorious. Their team was far more balanced while Winter and Autumn were a jumbled up mess. A difference of one student wouldn't matter much.
The sound of rushing water rang in his ears. This was the borderline. Kayla, third-place participant of the Summer tournament, was there, flickering with blue-white light and disrupting what would've been a rather calming and smooth surface. Any normal person standing there would've been shocked and knocked out if they made it past the snaking electricity that weaved like vines, providing the thorns to the rosebush.
He wasn't one of them. Crossing over was simple and there was no resistance. There couldn't be.

| It took a very long time before Keo finally admitted it, but roller blades, even equipped with badass treads, did not work very well on the uneven forest floor. Sighing, the girl removed the paper tab from the corner of her shoes, slipping it over her wheels to turn them back into boring rubber soles.
Suddenly, the Autumn’s nose was assaulted by the acrid smell of fresh vomit. Aw, Jesus, Keo turned away, holding a hand to her nose. Who the hell decided to have a gag party in the middle of a combat game? Willing herself to peek back around the bend, the girl's eyes soon fell on a rather miserable- looking pink- haired teen retching onto the forest floor a few yards away. She squinted, noticing a familiar green dart poking out of the poor boy's arm, just above his very blue armband.
"Fuck," Keo cursed under her breath. Luckily, after having had far too many accidental encounters with Grey's stupid darts herself, the girl had made a point of always keeping an antidote handy; all she'd need was a safe place for the boy to recover smack dab in the middle of the battle field.
Keo removed two large pieces of paper from her utility belt, pasting them firmly onto the tree in front of her. As a quick test to make sure she'd chosen the right one, Keo passed a hand through the paper; good. The alcove hidden underneath would be barely detectable by enemy forces. She darted over to the boy, all but dragging him to safety.

| "Fine by me." D'angelo replied back to Juliette. His eyes scanning the borderline, not much going on yet. Out of no where, a bright blue streak of lightning was seen from the other side of their half of the forest. It was surely distracting, but it can be used as an advantage. "There is a small opening right over there near that tree. I don't see anyone over there. We should move forward while Pikachu is putting on a light display." He pointed to where he saw the opening. There wasn't anyone near there that he could see. "I could get us there no problem. What do you say?" | |

| Bobbi hadn't been watching as she ran and teleported towards the creek. Without meaning to, she ran into Kayla, and with a quick oof she teleported a short distance away from the electric girl, breathing somewhat heavily. The initiate got a look at the girl and she knew that she really should have been watching where she was teleporting. | |

| Oof! Kayla went reeling backwards from the sudden impact, throwing a punch at the sudden figure in front of her. She only swatted at empty air as the figure vanished again, reappearing a short distance away. It was a girl she'd never seen before, someone she didn't recognize. An enemy. Was that how it was going to be?
Kayla regained her balance and dug her shoes into the creek bed. Ready, aim, fire. She straightened out her arm and snapped her fingers. CRACK!!! A bolt of lightning went streaking through the air toward her target.

| Thaddeus reached the river - probably a lot slower than he should have - without any interruption. It seemed no one had heard his calls - or they just didn't care. No matter. He would try one more time. Twirling his quarterstaff around, the Irishman issued a last challenge. "Dudes seriously, hiding just makes you cowards! No wonder Winter and Autumn are the better houses." If this didn't attract any attention from the opposition Thaddeus decided he would press forth into enemy territory. | |

| Ah insults. Yeah perhaps a little childish, but Thaddsu was ever the competitive type so surely it was all the name of fun. Okay, maybe that wasn't such a good idea, Thaddeus thought as a wall of water rose before him. He had just a moment to utter "Oh shi-" before he was engulfed in the wave.
How long he was under for he didn't know, but eventually he emerged from the swirling current spitting up river water that had forced its way down his lungs. Well if he wanted to get somones attention it looked like he had. But where the heck was his assailant? "Are you seriously going to stay hidden and attack from wherever you are?" he said between splutters. "Where's the bravery in that?" The tall youth pressed a button on the quarterstaff and it extended. Shaking the water from his hair he took a battle stance and said again, "C'mon then!"

| She surprised him! Her overall goal was complete. Before she could do anything else, Harrison rushed towards her and soon a knife was flying towards her. It skimmed her side, leaving another red mark. Fucking hell... She couldn't waste her time with this guy any longer. Taking a deep breath, she ran past Harrison and toward the Summer and Spring flag. She would get the flag, even if her power was negated when she grabbed it. ~~~ Pepper listened to the fighting students, somewhat pleasd at what she heard. Taking people out when they cane near the flag would be a peice of cake. The white beast gave a low growl and stretching her wings, somewhat tired of waiting. | |

| As his knife hit her side Harrison grinned. Placing his hand on his chest it still hurt from her attack and so he was a little hesitant to do anything. He was surprised to see her run past him into their side of the forest. Harrison looked to where she had ran for a second somewhat mesmerized. "Would you look at that." He lifted the knives off the floor and brought it back to his side. He decided that he should leave her to their defense, whats a battle ax to a dragon? "I guess there is no point standing here is there." He turned to the forest where the other flag was located. Feeling the pain still lingering he retracted his blades back into his belt buckle and used teleportation to move forward, it would lessen the strain. | |

| "Okay, Let's go." he said quietly. He looked at the area one more time, before placing his hand on Jules' shoulder. The moment his hand made contact they were instantly teleported across the borderline where he had desired to go. D'angelo quickly glanced around, all was clear. "Like I said, no problem." He said confident, raising his bat toward the forest. "Alright, let's give 'em hell." He was hyped for what lied ahead. The autumn began making his way through the forest. Their base should be around the same distance as their own base. | |

| At this point, Elaine was at the edge of the creek, her sword propped up on her shoulder. The heat didn't bother her as it didn't with most others with solar abilities. There were already a few students caught in combat, fighting with what ever they could. Gifts, weapons, you name it. Although she did wonder just exactly how many of her teammates were winning their respective battles, and the thought of helping them out did cross her mind, she opted to find her own fight.
The sight of a brunette dragging a rather pink-haired boy peaked her interest. She quickly made her way across, running up to the pair before barreling into the girl and sending them flying away from the seemingly half-dead boy. When the girls skidded to a halt, she quickly flipped over so she sat on the girl's chest. The blonde brought her sword up to Keo's throat and flashed her a wicked smile. "Hello," she said cheerfully.
Marcel didn't hide his scowl this time. So it was a fluke, just his cousin entertaining the idea to lead him on. He couldn't expect any less. Marcel was a little surprised at her next, cold words, and the sudden struggle it took for him to catch his breath. He knew her words had power over people, making them able to do her bidding.
The blond clutched his chest, gasping for breath. He had strength enough to deny her as best he could, but there was no doubt that it was a struggle. The boy glared up at Valarie, his right eye turning a bright, glowing red behind his bangs. While he resisted the urge to let her order take hold, he began forcing his consciousness onto her. There was no doubt that she'd be capable of keeping him at bay, but like her, he had a chance of over powering the girl. She wasn't the only one trained to perfect her ability.
