Walk of Pride [Dorm 204]

Sophia breathed a sigh of relief when Pepper transformed back, but it irritated her that Pepper was telling her not to yell her guts out? The girl overreacted, and probably would have burnt the dorm down if she was given the chance. "God no need to kill someone.." Sophia muttered, with a small snort following afterwards as she thought of Pepper's comment.

Sophia turned to Cayden, and stretched out a hand for him to take. "Let's get to breakfast shall we? We might have to eat fast if you want to make it to your class on time." She said in a friendly tone acting like none of that just happened, that she hadn't just threatened to kill someone not that long ago, and that Cayden hadn't almost died in her dorm. Nope that didn't happen at all.

Pepper felt sick, which was an understatement. All she wanted to do was curl up in a ball and die or better yet, maybe just go destroy some stuff. Who knows how long it'd been since the two left, but Pepper simply sat there, a blank expression upon her face. Not really thinking, she got up and stumbled to her room, shutting her door and sledding down to the floor. Sitting against the door, tears finally found their way to her face. No! Stop feeling like this! He doesn't care about you! Pepper tried to tell herself, thought couldn't bring herself to believe her own thoughts.

He had been a total dick, only wanting her for the fun of it, but there would always be a hole in here heart where Cayden had been. Now that she thought about it, humans were weird. Pepper's thoughts wandered for a while till they stopped at an interesting thought. Why do we ignore the ones that who adore us, adore the ones who ignore us, love the ones who hurt us, and hurt the ones who love us?
