Getting back into the swing of things [Closed]

The blond held still as she brushed the dirt off of his clothes. "Thanks!" Leo smiled on, spinning back ground to face Mikaela. He too wiped his forehead, sweeping his bangs to the side. The moisture clinging to his skin. "We'd better head inside then." Leo commented, rolling up his sleveeves just the slightest bit higher. Any way to cool off was great.

"Want to come in? I'm sure Harmony wouldn't mind an extra bit of help." The angel gestured toward the building that the children had entered. Within, it was much cooler and had plenty of water and juice boxes to drink. Especially the children who insisted that they sat down at the small table with their knees up to their chest just to sit down. It was all worth it to see them smile.

Mikaela shrugged. "Sure, why not? I bet it's nice and cool inside." she replied. Maybe she'd be able to play with the kids more. "What do you think the kids are doing now?" she asked Leo, tilting her head. Would they be playing with the toys inside, or would they be napping? Either way, it would be nice to get out of the heat for awhile. She had a lot of fun playing with the kids and Leo. The Summer was glad she had decided to help out at the Daycare. It gave her a chance to take a break from the seriousness of high school.

A thoughtful look crossed his face as they strolled towards the building. "We'd make sure that they drink enough water and cool off. " Leo gives his phone a check of the time. It was later in the day, and it wouldn't be too long until the parents came to pick them up. "Usually they'd play more relaxed games. Like drawing. Hosa might play with them too if she's feeling up to it." They usually did such things to get the kids at least a bit tired when they go home. That way their parents don't have to deal with some hyperactive kids after a long day of work.

"Ooh, that'll be fun. Hosa's a guardian, right?" she replied, smiling. When she was bored she liked to draw, even though she wasn't very good at it. Coloring was way more fun anyways. They got to the door and Mikaela pulled it open and held it for Leo. "Ladies first~" she joked.

Leo nodded in response to her question. "She graduated last year. Hosa was the one that won the tournament last." The blond explained, running a hand under his bangs. Reaching the door, Leo took a step to reach it before Mikaela pulled it open. Leo put a hand to his chest in a mock gasp. "Why thank you, young man." He jokingly replied, skirting in the door and swishing his head to the side as if a girl would tossing her hair back.

It took his eyes to adjust to the inside lighting, but soon he was able to see children sitting at a table. Their heads bent down as the worked on their artistry, only looking up to see he and Mikaela step in. Some of them bent their heads back down, while others grinned largely.

"Look, look!" One called out to the two workers. "Look what I colored!" The blond beckoned Mikaela over to the child, a pleasant smile on his face.

It was a crude drawing of a tree. The child had drawn the branches, then colored over in green. Blue sky was haphazardly colored in with a blue crayon. A sun was placed in the top right corner and birds flew in the distance. They looked like little Ws hovering in the skies. "It looks great! I especially like how you drew the tree. Very creative!

Mikaela smiled as she walked over to the boy with the drawing of a tree. "Wow! Did you draw this? I love it!" she told him, causing the small boy to smile brightly. It was always nice to tell kids how good their drawings were, she loved seeing their responses. She looked at all the kids' drawings. "All of you have really good drawings! Keep it up!" she added.
