Wren was running out ideas to do for her free time, so although it was around 7pm, Wren still decided to make a run to the pool. Flinging a flimsy white towel over her shoulder, she girl made her way to the chlorine pool. She grinned as she got closer and put a toe into the water. Perfect temperature. Grinning, she three the towel down the chair next to her and dived into the pool. She wasn't the type of girl to try to keep her hair dry and the warm water flowing freely around her face invigorated her. Only she could've sworn she heard the pool doors open. Maybe her venture wouldn't be made by herself.

People weren't usually in the gym at seven, let alone the pool. The boy of the Spring House walked into the room, not noticing Wren in the slightest. He needed to practice his ability -- he could do it with relative ease when it came to mirrors and solid substances, but water was always a difficulty, and he had come in a few other times to practice in the large pool. Kneeling at the edge of the water, he attempted to make the water show the interior of the stables so he could look at the horses. He waved a hand over the liquid, trying to focus. An image began to appear in the corner, but quickly dissipated. He tried again.

After swimming for a few seconds, the blonde's head popped up to the site of a boy leaning over the side of the pool. Afraid he was trying to peep, she quickly crossed her arms across we chest and distinctively yelled out- "What are you doing!?" Her cheeks heated up and she backed to the far end of the pool, even if it was deeper and she looked like the was sinking. Granted she didn't know his intentions of practicing his powers, but hey! What would you do if I not you barely knew was bending over the pool that you were in? Okay so maybe not assume he was trying to creep, but you can't help but be defensive in the crazy world that we live in.

The girl frightened Rob; she made him jump and lose focus, just when he was getting the water to do what he wanted. At first he ignored her, but after a few moments, he looked up, embarrassed. "Oh, I'm sorry," he said bashfully. "I didn't know anyone was in here." Truth be told, he wished his power was to be invisible right about now. To someone like Robert, being scrutinized by one person was like humiliating yourself in front of hundreds. He fidgeted uncomfortably, unsure of whether to just bolt out like a craven or wait for her response.

It was funny that while he had frightened Wren, she had frightened him just the same. Only in a different way. Yet even after she acknowledged him, he still continued what he was doing. It was only after watching his power that she realized he hadn't come here to creep, but to practice his power instead. Feeling a blush run across her face she shook her head clear of any stupid thoughts. "Its fine," she reassured quietly. "I overreacted, I just wasn't expecting someone to be leaning over the pool." If only Wren knew that she had humiliated him, she probably would've wished for the same power. Being indivisible seemed like a really good option right now to her too.

Robert looked away, embarrassed, but realized the girl hadn't yelled at him to get out. She thought he was some freak that just bent over pools as if he hadn't any sense, he guessed. He quickly tried to remedy this appearance. "I, uh, was just practicing," he said. Supposing that was equally strange and cryptic, he added hastily: "My power, that is. Catoptromancy," he told her, once more realizing that he wasn't making much sense and not many people knew what his ability was unless he explained it to them . . and once he did, he normally sounded like some kind of stalker that watches people through mirrors.

Nodding as though she knew everything about his ability, the girl pretended to be intregued by something she knew nothing about. Yet, even the fake sincerity didn't keep her from feeling uncomfortable in a swimsuit... In front of a guy she had just met... Who had been leaning over the pool-no matter how good his excuse was. "Oh, right! Lovely!" She said, through an almost unreadable expression- due to trying to hide the fact she had no clue what so ever what that was. Actually, she wasn't sure she wanted to know what it was; because if it was a fancy way of saying creeper, she was better off not knowing.

Yeah, it was just a fancy way of saying creeper; he was creepier than Santa Claus. His power made it so that everyone he had ever come in contact with . . . it was like a camera followed them wherever they went, and he could access it at any time. But, of course, he didn't. He wasn't one to spy on people with his ability. He realized she didn't know what his ability was, and he felt no urge to elaborate. "Ha, yeah, um," he fumbled for the right words. He didn't know what to say next, really. . . he felt kind of embarrassed.
