Round 3: Leo Herman vs. Mason 'Magic' Stein

Leo spotted the boy doing another leap thing, back towards him. Mason was going fairly fast, and Leo's blue eyes widened at that fact. With a frown on his face, Leo sheathed both of his weapons, then held his hands out in front of him. Eyes narrowed in concentration, a light yellow shield like object hovered a few inches away from Leo's hands. It wasn't a solid yellow, and had spiral esc pattern that was always moving every which way. Eyes brightening in excitement, Leo braced himself, dominant foot in front and the other behind him. Thus he'd be hard to knock over.

Just at that second, Mason had slammed his fist into the shield. The more saturated colors, or energy pushed against the fist with equal force. Smirking, Leo directed Mason's fist down, and brought the shield down towards Mason's head.

Mason brought an arm up in a flash protecting his head from the shield. He didn't push back on the shield, just held it to keep from doing any damage. Mason quickly moved out of the way, and danced around the boy to where he was on his dead side, or facing his back. Mason quickly sent a foot flying towards the boy's back, sound ready to add power once again.

Leo spun around following Mason's movement, and was only brushed Thinking quickly, he let the shield disappear and pushed himself into the air, to the roof of the room. Thus out of range what he was about to do. Holding out his hands once again he sent a blast into the stain glass window. His attack shattered the window, sending large shards of glass down at Mason. Once he sent the blast, the angel boy flew to the other side of the room, where he then prepared for another attack from his opponent. So far, they had barely managed to cause much damage to each other, and sometime, one of them would have to begin to get tired.

Magic wasn't gonna get tired, not any time soon. He was just getting a bit angry. How was Leo out maneuvering him? It honestly confused him. Mason noticed that the bolt wasn't heading for him, but the window behind him, and quickly moved out of the way. Only getting a cut or two from a stray shard. For some reason he was never able to land a hit on Leo, and it was really starting to piss him off. Not to mention Leo stole his idea. Mason started creating sound but it's couldn't be heard, but the loudness of the sound could be felt. Once again Mason cranked up the sound up to over 165 decibels causing Leo pain, and hoping to ground him.

Leo's body willed with pain once more, however it wouldn't be as much as Mason would like it to. As sounds loses its strength at a distance. And he and Mason were on completely different sides of the room. However it was enough for Leo's wings to stop moving as he experienced a spasm of pain. The angel boy plummeted a food few yards before forcing his wings to keep moving. Not enough to ground him, but enough for Leo not to send out attack. Eyes were narrowed as he struggled to keep focus. 'Damn it.'

Mason watched as Leo fell a little bit, but not all the way to the ground like he wanted. Mason clenched his fist, and increased the volume, hoping the louder noise will hopefully ground him. Mason wanted to end this fight but he had barely done any damage to Leo. Mason had a couple cuts to show that he had actually been hit while Leo had nothing on him. It was pissing him off, but he couldn't break the sound now if he wanted to attack with something more direct. Two different sounds would mess each other up. He needed to ground Leo if he wanted to attack him.

Once the second wave hit Leo, he cringed and once again fell, this time landing on the ground. Thankfully softly, due to his wings. Once on the ground, the blond took a knee to take his focus away from the agony that wracked his body. Leo couldn't do much at the moment, but formed the shield once again, in case Mason came his way.

Magic had gotten what he wanted. Leo was on the ground though he had a shield up Magic was able to attack him now. Leo would be suspecting for Mason to go around him, or something so instead the boy had a different plan hopefully this would catch him off guard. Mason raced straight for the boy looking like he was going to take the shield head on. Right as he was about to reach Leo, Mason stopped the loud sound, and used sound to spring over the shield. The way he did this made him do an aerial which is exactly what he wanted, right in the middle of the aerial Mason was able to turned, and created sound waves headed directly for Leo's back. Mason landed facing Leo ready to fight if he tried something else.

Leo figured out what Mason was intending to do as soon as he made for Leo's back. Unfortunately, Leo was recovering from the latest pain attack to be able to react. His weak spot. What Mason did not know, was that it'd have to be attacked physically. While his attack may cause pain, it had to be via a weapon. So while the pain continued at a greater pain, he forced himself off the ground, and send an enhanced punch towards Mason's jaw. Leo's movement faster and more damaging due to holy powers.

Mason saw that coming from a mile away. It was easy to see. Mason pushed the fist out of the way with his left hand, and stepped to the side at the same time. Mason grabbed Leo's wrist with his right hand then let a kick fly to the middle of Leo's back. Honestly hitting someone in their back was a cheap shot, but this was just like street fighting, there were no rules. Though being this close wasn't good for either of them.

As soon as Mason grabbed Leo's hand, he gripped the boy's wrist as well. Keeping his holy powers in his hand, Leo aimed to crush the boy's wrist, the sheer power from his hand. However Leo failed to avoid the kick aimed towards his back. Pain shot up his back, and the angel's face held a grimace. In a way to push his focus from the pain, he pushed all the strength he had into the dark haired student's wrist.

Sharp pain shot up Mason's arm. He had to escaped Leo's grasp quickly. Mason grabbed Leo's wrist with his other hand then lifted Leo's arm. Quickly Mason spun under Leo's arm even though he was taller than Leo. The spin allowed Mason to break free of Leo's grasp, but Mason didn't stop there, he kept his grip on Leo's wrist. Despite the pain in his own wrist, keeping Leo's arm up the dark-haired boy twisted the back of Leo's hand toward his back. If Leo didn't react quickly he was gonna end up with a broken elbow.

Unluckily for Mason, Leo had a pair of wings, and the angel boy pushed himself into the air. He hadn't bothered to do the normal way to get out. Once his hips were higher than Mason's head, Leo swung his legs over Mason's head, the opposite direction of how his arm was being held back. Thus dislodging the grasp. Landing a good few yards away, a sharp pain grew on Leo's back, and a frown spread on his face. What Leo was happy about, despite the pain, was the fact he had managed to keep calm. Blue eyes closed and took in a deep breath. Suddenly, the boy shot out the spear of holy energy that he had done before, yet a few more than more than before. Once the volley of spears left his hands, Leo leaned back, and tried to look at his back. While it was hard to see behind his wings, it looked as if a large bruise was forming. Remembering his leg injury from last round, he hoped it wouldn't be the same case.

Mason rolled out of the way from most of the spears but unlucky for him once again he was sloppy. One spear caught him right in the arm, causing some blood to drip on the ground. Magic was getting really tired of this. Anger was held in his eyes. Leo still didn't have a scratch on him from what Mason saw, he didn't know about the bad damage that he cause Leo with that one kick. Mason had a couple cuts, the small ones from the shards of glass had stopped bleeding by now. The other one was almost there.
"No more playing around.." He muttered to no one. No one was listening. Mason ignored his pain, mostly the sting from the wound, and the pain in his wrist. The boy stomped the ground causing the ground to shake slightly. This was frustrating. Mason opened his mouth and let out a scream with the same destructive force that made three trees fall, but with his power he kept the waves strong. The waves wouldn't weaken as they moved across the distance.

Leo turned around just to see the glint in Mason's eyes. Much like the time in the forest. The light haired bay was about to say something to the dark haired one, but a wave caught Leo in the wings, sending him skidding across the remainder of the room, and colliding with the wall. Grimacing, Leo looked down at his left leg, which had taken most of the skidding. A road burn. There seemed to be a cut near the beginning of the scrape. The blood slowly dripped down his leg.

Eyes narrowed, he looked up at the drapery behind him. It was a kingdom in a forest, with ornately colored buildings. Muttering a sorry to whoever it belonged to, even if it was an illusion, he ripped a strip of the tapestry off and tied a makeshift bandage to the deep cut. Once it was tied tight, Leo stood up, and watched his opponent carefully. If he had gotten the same power as before, he had to be careful. Leo put up his shield again, however this time. Much larger this time in order to protect himself from the waves that Mason was sending his way.
