A 406 Soirée [PARTY THREAD - open for everyone!!]

Well damn, on a scale of one-to-ten on the creep vibe Montare had been pulling in that moment, the Autumn had to give him at least an eleven. Most people would've flinched, or fell, or grabbed at their faces; but he just crept straight up again like a zombie or something. That'd only made him raise his guard all the more. Lo-and-behold, in an instant, Montare was swinging back, not with a punch of his own, but with his leg. Vaguely in that moment, Jace remembered watching the tournament. Keirsta herself had managed to catch her opponent's round-kick, but the young man himself wasn't prepared for that.

He moved with instinct, catching Montare's leg against his forearm and flinching to the side. While it wasn't enough to stop the attack, he at least managed to soften it. Sharp jabs of pain shot through where he was hit and he found himself on the ground, on his knees, a searing pain tearing at the side of his head. Jason seethed through his teeth, feeling lightheaded, but determined not to let that be the end of it. He shook his head clear as best he could, glancing up and seeing the girl from before tugging at the wolf-boy's arm. He'd have to apologize to her later.

Jason started to pull himself back up, placing one hand on his knee and eying the other boy cautiously before moving again, ignoring the gathering crowd. He gritted his teeth and shot up, grabbing Montare by his head - or his shoulders, whatever he was able to grab first, and brought his lug up swinging, jabbing his knee harshly into his lower stomach, once, and twice - if he could manage it, though even if he did it wasn't anywhere near as strong or graceful as the first.

He shoved the black-haired boy away then, taking a few steps back himself and trying to clear his head. It still hurt like a bitch.

Liam never bothered on sitting down, watching as the girl plopped back on the couch and helping herself to her newly found beer. Maybe he could convince her to at least let him have half. She looked like she'd had her fair for the night anyways. He'd been about to answer her sly, smart-ass remarks all too happily, but it seemed that shit was hitting the fan before he ever got a real chance to do so. He glanced around, taking in another deer drag of his blunt and peering through the crowd with mild amusement.

"I think that cousin of yours is putting on a show, Blondie." He smirked, finally taking a seat next to her. [color=#9B0909]"You must feel so special. Casually, he reached over to take the drink out of her hands. A few more sick sounds echo'd from the other side of the room, and it'd elicited another gasp from those he watched. He didn't seem to care much.

Montare couldn't help but smile a bit as Jace went down from the kick he had failed to protect himself from. Montare was slightly surprised to see Jace get back afterwards, and even more surprised to see that he intended to keep on fighting. His surprise kept him from reacting fast enough when Jace grabbed his shoulders, and Jace's knee connected with his stomach not once, but twice, before Montare was shoved again. This time, he fell on to the floor, groaning as he got back up onto his feet, one hand holding his stomach. One hit, he could work through and ignore. A second one, quickly followed by a third in the same place; he could not shrug that off as easily.

Not wanting to give Jace a chance to fully recover from the kick to his head, Montare rushed towards him, swinging his fist to hit Jace in the opposite side of his head where the kick had connected. Hopefully, he'd win this fight before he lost the will to tolerate the pain of being punched and kneed, and end up vulnerable because of it.

Luce took a drink from the bottle of beer Jonathan had opened for him occasionally as he watched the fight that had broken out the best he could through the crowd that was forming around the two students. He considered getting up to take a closer look, but didn't want to risk being dragged into it, especially now that he was drinking. So instead, he simply awaited his companion's return.

No one was listening to her, and the fight was obviously too entertaining for anyone else to step in and stop. When the blond went falling to the ground, for a moment Jane was afraid Montare had knocked him out, but he came back with fire burning in his eyes. Jane stepped back as he grabbed Montare by the shoulders, kneeing him savagely in the stomach and shoving him away. Still clutching tight onto his sleeve, Jane went spilling to the floor with him. She was still crawling back onto her feet when Montare was already back up, swinging another punch at his head. Jesus Christ, these two weren't holding back.

Panic fueled her movements now, and Jane rushed forward to restrain him, slipping her arms under and over his in a frail and fragile full nelson, trying her hardest to pull him back. Her hardest was hardly good enough. "Stop!" she hissed again.

"How do you know he...," She gave a short glance to the boy, but shook her head. "Come on, let's get out of here. They're making too much noise, and I don't want my mom finding me here." She smiled and stepped in to Liam, leaning close to him. She rubbed her hand over his chest. "And take my beer again, and I'll bash it over your head, Ginger." There were bottles on the small table by the door, he could just get one there. Stepping back again, she kept onto his hand, and she weaved her way towards the exit.

Okay there was only so much that Magic could handle. He didn't mind all the noise at first, but it slowly became louder, and then he heard a fight. A stupid fight. Sound man was very unhappy at the moment. It sounded like everything was going smoothly up until the fight. Mason trudged down the hallway, the noise getting louder and louder the closer he got. He paused in front of the door for a second. Yep this was the door. The winter student shoved the door open, not caring if it hit the wall with a bang. He looked kind of pissed off at the moment. "Who the fuck is causing all of the fighting noise?" He asked, quieting the music with his power, so that way people would be able to hear him.

'Cheap ass bitch,' Jace thought the moment just before Montare's fist collided with his face again. He wasn't going to waste any time stumbling back, though, not if he could help it - his head was already fucked up at that point, and he threw another punch to Montare's face. Though he meant to hit him right on the nose, it ended up being somewhere on his eyes - ironically, seeing as what a certain girl jumped in saying two seconds later. Luckily, even the host was holding him back for the blond, though not for Jace's benefit, he was certain.

He hasn't even noticed the others push their way in until he'd gotten his hit, nor that the music was gone, and the presence of everyone watching. Jason had spent years dealing with this guy's bullshit. To said he'd had enough was an understatement. Jason had been about to throw another hit when Juliette leaped in between them, spear in hand. For a moment he was tempted to snatch her weapon for himself, and wasn't certain if he should feel ashamed of that thought or not. He rubbed at the side of his head. A drink sounded really good, then.

Jace looked around then, and for once, wasn't exactly a fan of the crowd. "So long as this asshole swears we won't stab me as soon as I turn my back," He said, a weak smile showing through his pained expression, his eyes narrowed at Montare's shape.

Because she'd just said her cousin was causing trouble, and she wasn't the only one in the room with silky blonde hair, although at this point - between people gathering in a circle and pushing their way through, there was nothing more to see from where they stood. It didn't take much to catch a drunk girl off guard, he figured. "Lucky guess." It apparently didn't take much to get one all over you either. He watched her hand brush over him again, her threat mild down by her own attitude. He could only return a crooked smile, allowing himself to be led away, scooping up a fresh bottle when he could. "You're not taking me far, are you?"

And over the course of the next few seconds, a prefect came crashing through the door, the music stopped, the hot blond smashed Montare in the nose, and her roommate came charging in with a spear. Jane let go of Montare, letting herself stumble backwards and land straight on her ass. She didn't bother to stand back up, only put a hand on her face. "I'm glad you're enjoying yourself," she muttered to Juliette, thoroughly defeated. A drink would be nice. A drink and a toke, and a lot of other things too. She'd barely had the time before everybody started throwing punches and running for spears. "Can't we all just get along? Maybe kiss and make up?" If the two could just hug it out and let bygones be bygones, then she'd be able to enjoy herself. She glanced over to the Sound Man from the ground. "And turn the music back on. Something laidback before someone gets laid out."

Montare stumbled slightly, moving a step back after Jace's fist collided with his face near his eye. He'd begun to reach his limit as far as how much pain he could easily tolerate was concerned, and couldn't help but bring his hand to his eye, groaning. He remained still for a few moments, before moving his hand back to his side. However, there was an immediately noticeable difference now. Rather than an eye belonging to a human, a wolf eye was now in its place.

In an instant, a wolf stood in the place of the teenager. Montare ran between Juliette's legs before jumping at Jace quickly, tackling him to the ground, his teeth barred. Anyone could tell that Montare was pissed at this point, and that someone should step in and intervene  with more than a hit on the arm.

D'angelo watched as the two boys began trading blows with one another. This was turning out to be more than just an average party brawl. It was pretty entertaining to say the least, but this wasn't the right time for a fight. Out of nowhere came Juliette with a spear. A spear? The hell did she get a spear from? Would that even be enough to stop this fight? It seemed to have worked for the time being, until the dark haired boy had turned into a wolf. "Oh Nice!" He said as he watched in amazement for what he had just saw. "Not so nice." He replied as the wolf had attacked the blonde dude. Well this took an unexpected turn.

D'angelo knew he had to do something. Should he try and teleport the wolf somewhere else. That had seemed like the best thing to do if he can get a hand on it. Before he could react, a pink haired guy had joined in and tried to get a hold of the beast. D'angelo ran over to assist the new guy. He had grabbed the wolf and was about to take this outside until it started to slowly revert itself to it's human form. Gently letting go of the fur, He helped the pink haired boy up. "Nice work!" Letting out a sigh of relief. Who knows what could have happened if he wasn't there. He walked over to Jane and Juliette to lend them a hand in getting up.

Maisie took him out the door. The hallway was dark and dimly lit, and an orange glow dappled shadows across the floor. He created the sunset across her face. "So, Ginger." Maisie's eyes were auburn in the darkness. "You know a good place to go around here at midnight?" She looked around. "I'm kind of new here."

Logan had stopped walking straight after his fourth beer. He decided to have another one after that. The night became a blur as he lingered at the refreshment table, eyeing the people who passed sleepily. He'd never been drunk before, and wasn't quite sure he was now. The boy began to wander with his fifth beer clasped in his hand, until he found Jane planted on the ground due to the fight she was trying to break up. And he wasn't too happy about that. He decided to talk to her.
"Whah the fuck is goin' on here?" His voice was half slurred. "Who did dis to you?" He stumbled a little. "Am-… Am I on the floor or-...or are you?"

Luckily, Jonathan had stepped in and begun to negate Montare's power before he could do anything to Jace. As expected, it took no more than a few seconds before Montare was reverted back to his human form. However, because this happened due to his power being forcefully negated rather than done by Montare normally, it was not without side effects. Fortunately for Montare, there was only one side effect and it was not harmful in any way; his clothing did not come back like it normally would have. Now Montare was on top of Jace human and naked. Thanks, Jonathan.

Montare didn't immediately notice, too focused on Jace to realize that he shifted back without his clothing, and that he shifted back without actively doing so.

Luckily Magic was quivk to notice what was going on and quickly threw his jacket over the now naked teenager sitting on to of the other. Magic wouldnt be asking for that back, he would rather burn it later. "You might want to cover yourself.." He said to the wolf man.

The small moment of peace, quiet, and stability that Jane and the Sound Guy had brought in only took half a heartbeat to explode. She wasn't sure how it all happened. One moment Montare was just standing there, and then he was fucking White Fang, leaping on top of the guy. She screamed out of instinct. Was he trying to murder the guy?! Juliette went sprawling on top of her before she could blink, spear flying to the ground, and some other guy went jumping into the fray too, grabbing onto the wolf as it went bounding forward, and D'angelo went running forward too. Fuck. Fucking fuck. This was her 'get-together', a good time to get high and unwind and have some fun, and this was just turning into a fucking fist fight.

Jane stared wide-eyed up at Logan, Jules still laying on top of her, as he came shambling up. God, the poor guy was drunk off his ass. She could help him in a second. Right now she had more urgent business. "Now really isn't the time," she hissed, patting her roommate on the back. "Can't this wait until tonight?" Jane half-joked. Somebody was about to die, in her room, on her first week after being sorted, surrounded by drugs and alcohol. Life was just a big joke though, wasn't it?

When she turned her head to look at the brawl, it was already half-over. Her face twisted into something incredulous. "Oh, Jesus, really...?" she muttered under her breath. Whatever Montare had been wearing ten seconds before, it was gone now. Now he was laying naked on top of the blond, pinning him down, with the pink-haired kid and D'angelo right nearby. One big happy pile. That's the spirit, I guess...

She pushed Juliette off and crawled to one knee, grabbing onto Logan's sleeve to get to her feet. Jane stumbled over just as Sound Guy came with the jacket. "Out!" she finally screamed, running a hand through her hair. The Autumn gave Montare a kick on the side. A fight, a fight that Montare had mostly started, she could deal with. Those things happened, you know? People got a little drunk and emotions ran high in tiny cramped rooms like this. But this shit... If the blond had gotten his pretty face clawed off, everyone in this room would've suffered hell for it, especially her. She kicked him again. "Bad dog! Out! Get!"

"Cooking? Wow that's..." she tried to think of the right word. She was actually impressed that he could cook. It wasn't something she heard often. "really cool!" she finished before the throw down took her attention from Preston. Were they really doing this right now? The party literally just started like ten minutes ago. She really didn't want to be here if this was how it was going to go the whole night. When it finally calmed down Penny was left with an image she didn't ever want to see. Where the hell did his clothing go? She was glad to see that the girl hosting the party was getting them out of here even though it seemed like the guy barging through the door was going to take care of it if Jane didn't. "I really wanted to enjoy this party..." she muttered.

"Uh... Actually, I have no idea what her name is. I just heard about it around campus. I think her name is... Jennifer? Janet...?" He paused as soon as he heard the fight breaking out behind him. His attention suddenly being taken over by the two guys breaking each other's faces, he just let out a heavy sigh of aggravation. This was the exact reason he didn't want to come in the first place. He knew something like this would happen. He just knew it... When the fight finally calmed down, though, and after being scarred from seeing a naked teen being kicked out the door, Richard raised his hand and pointed at Jane. "She's hosting the party. I can't exactly remember her name, though." he turned back to Grace and gave her a small smile. "I hope this can go back to being a nice party.."

Well he didn't know her name, and she didn't know her name, so that just meant a J-name was hosting the party. Things took a very different turn, however, when a fight broke out. Grace's eyes widened with surprise as two guys started to take swings at each other, turning the entire party's attention onto them. It was a powerful display of random fighting, and it made Grace somewhat nervous. Everything here seemed rather illegal, and this was just the testosterone-fueled icing on the cake. Luckily, it did end. Unluckily, Grace caught a slight glance of something she didn't want to see. She began to look very intensely at the ceiling, a blush creeping up on her face.

Her? Grace finally looked down to see where Richard was pointing: at a girl who was currently attempting to kick one of the perpetrators of the fight out of the room. Well, this certainly was an excitable party, wasn't it? Still, the worry of someone in power having heard the commotion put her on edge, and she expressed her worries to her new talking partner. "O-Oh, w-we're gonna get caught, a-aren't we?" She looked up at him with a fearful expression, half-wanting to bolt right then and there. Then again, that might look even more suspicious. "T-this is illegal a-and bad and a-ahhh…" She fretted and worried, but she didn't make any move to leave. She was caught in between wanting to socialize and wanting to not get thrown in jail.
