The Pool is Cool {Open}

After his two dorm mates had put on their swimming trunks, Leo took the responsibility to lead them down to the pool. He wore a a black, yellow and white swim trunk with a simple white t-shirt for the short walk to the gymnasium. In his arm Leo carried three towels one for each dorm member. The tall blond pushed the door to the pool open, and was welcomed to the sight of an empty pool. Which didn't surprise Leo in the slightest. It was in fact very cold out, and the students would have to make the trip back to their dorm soaking wet.

Not a experience the Autumn was looking forward to, but he should enjoy spending some time at the pool before worrying about that.

"Here it is, right next to the training rooms." Every step there had been hell, and he honestly could not wait any longer to get into the water. With a sudden movement, Leo kicked off his flipflops, tossed the towels into the bench, pulled his shirt off and leaped into the still pool. He broke the stillness of the pool with a cannonball, the splash reaching his two dorm mates.

Reaching the surface, Leo gasped for breath, and pulled himself to the side of the pool. His legs didn't seem to like his sudden movement that he pulled off. Hopefully they would loosen up. But for now, the blond held on to the edge of the pool, letting the warm heated pool sooth his pain.

Jake followed his dorm mates in the pool area. Unlike Leo, the tall student didn't want to wear a shirt, since he liked the cold weather. But he reluctantly did, not wanting to upsetting his prefect friend. Jake walked into the pool area, realizing he had seen it before, just never took the time to care. Jake watched Leo jump in and took his shirt off. The hole world seemed to stop as his abs were soon in view. The student's hefty build always surprised people, but he was used it it. He was also used to people staring at his mechanical leg. Before Jake jumped in, he sat down on the nearest pool chair and let hit leg reequip. With in a moment the leg's outside was like a metal wall, tightly shut to keep water out and keep it from electrocuting his friends. He stood up, slightly wincing at the pressure his leg had applied, but then yelled "Wooooo!", ran, did a goofy front flip off the side of the pool, and perfectly landed a canon ball.

Sean briskly walked next to Jake and Leo. It was cold outside, and it wasn't helping that he was wearing only swim trunks and a t-shirt. As they entered the gym Sean gasped, his blue eyes peering around the giant center. "This is huge!"

Sean followed Leo to the pool and watched him do a cannonball causing water to splash on his clothes. "Hey!" he laughed. The autumn raised his arms and started taking off his own shirt. Jake was doing the same on the chair, adjusting his mechanical leg. Sean was about to run in when Jake sprinted past him doing a front flip into a cannonball. "Is that the best you can do?" He teased Jake, taking off into a run to do his dive. Towards the end of the pool Sean jumped, but his foot slipped on the water that already surrounded the edges. His body failed him as he tried to regain balance and he flopped against the pool with his stomach, causing a splash to hit his friend who were already in the water. He popped back up to the surface with a grin on his face and a red stomach.

Jillian hurried to the gymnasium, wearing only a purple, printed shawl over the top of her red swimsuit.  Her hair is pulled back into a bun and tied with a ribbon that matches the color of her swimsuit.  She had noticed on the school map that there was a pool in the gym and she decided to spend some time there, hopefully alone.  The cold weather was good; it meant the chances of her being alone are higher than they would be normally.  
However, her stomach drops when she steps into the pool area and notices that three guys had had the same idea as her.  She watches the last blond one as he bellyflops into the pool and realizes it's too late for her to turn around.  The walk back to her dorm would be twice as nerve-wracking as swimming with three boys she hardly knows.
Sighing resignedly, she walks over to a bench and hesitantly removes her shawl, revealing her red one-piece suit with ruffles along the legs and arms.  Jillian folds and refolds her shawl anxiously as she tries to stall the moment before she has to get in the pool.
Finally she decides that she can't stall anymore and she turns around, facing the large pool.  Jillian walks quickly to the pool stairs, paying close attention so she won't slip on the wet floor and embarass herself.  She reaches the stairs and dips her toe in, half expecting the water to be cold.  The warmth both surprises and disappoints her.  If it had been cold she could've pretended to be a chicken about it and excused herself.
Come on, don't be such a scaredy cat, just go for it She coaches herself into sliding her foot in the water, then her other foot, and soon she's standing awkwardly on the top step.  Jillian freezes in that spot, unable to convince herself that it's a good idea to go in any farther.

Leo watched his dorm mates leap into the pool with as much grace as a fish out of water, a bright grin on his face. Sean's slip brought laughter bubbling past his lips, although he was a bit concerned when the blond was underwater. Sure he had taken the test to be a lifeguard, and had the certificate, Leo had never had to use anything he learned. Honestly, he didn't want that to change. Thankfully, Sean reappeared on the surface, with a grin and red chest to show for his mistake.

With a sigh of relief, Leo brushed his bangs out of his face, slicking the blond locks back on his head. It was only when it was wet, did it stay back. But, even then there was always a one lock of hair that sticks up like alfalfa. One hand floating on the warm pool, and the other on top of his head, as if trying to keep that one piece down. The sound of the door opening brought the prefect to turn around. He was closest to the door, so he was the first to notice the girl.

She looked very nervous. Well, he could imagine. It didn't look like she was here with anyone, and she walked into the pool with three boys who knew each other. The oldest looked away, knowing he might make her feel slightly uncomfortable by staring for too long. It took her a bit to gather her courage to walk into the pool, but when she did, Leo gave her a smile. He didn't want someone to feel unwelcome. Besides, she was a student at Beata. It was his job to look after them.

When Sean resurfaced the water his chest was as red as a tomato. He laughed with his friends as the stinging pain slowly faded away. After a few more laughs he splashed water on his face and pushed back the hair that was lurking in his eyes. He swam out to the middle of the pool and sank below the water. The blond let out all of his air so he would sink and then laid against the bottom of the pool. 'Damn... I forgot how much I loved the water.'

After a few moments of laying against the pools floor Sean shot up and gasped for air. That was when he noticed Leo looking at someone else that entered the pool room. She had a red swim suit on covered by a purple shawl. The girl slowly slipped the shawl off and took a couple steps into the pool. Sean wiped the water that surrounded his eyes and realized the girl was Jillian, the one he met in the library. He started swimming towards the steps, but stopped a couple feet away. "Hey Jillian!" he waved. Sean was glad to see all his friends in one place. A friendly smile appeared on his face as he waited for Jillian to hop into the pool. Sean turned his body back toward his friends, "This is my other friend, Jillian. The one girl I met in the library, I told you about." His eyes gazed over to Jake to make sure he wouldn't make any sly comments.

Jake enjoyed the peace and quiet of just the guys when a girl walked in. The boy lay adrift in the water before swimming upright to see who came in. The girl looked timid and shy, a bit to shy for his taste. He caught Sean's eye. "Don't worry Seany-boy." he said teasingly. He dove under water and popped up by the pool's edge just in time to see Pepper walk in, short shorts and a t-shirt. "Pepper? I didn't know you liked to swim." he said kindly.

"Well, not really, but I was looking for you, and a dragon's nose never lies." She laughed. "And I couldn't let you boys have all the fun." She looked at Sean and Leo. She walked over to a pool chair and set her flipflops and towel down. She look off her short shorts and t-shirt, revealing a cute bikini, but made sure to keep her pony tail in. The girl walked to the water's edge. "You must be Leo, the Autumn prefect right? Jake's told me about you. And about his stupid party idea." She raised a brow, put her hands on her hips, and tapped her foot on the cold ground.

The sound of the door opening yet again brought Leo's attention back to another student who entered the pool area. He opened his mouth to greet her, but paused when he heard Jake talk to her from behind him. Blinking, the blond glanced between the two. They knew each other then? Honestly, he was a bit confused when she spoke about a dragons nose? What would that mean? Decidedly brushing that train of thought away, Leo turned back around towards the pool and took a few strides deeper into the pool before freezing as Pepper spoke directly to him.

Turning around with a twirl of his arms, Leo tilted his head as she spoke. So she and Jake actually knew each other then. A sheepish smile crossed Leo's face as she finished. "All good things, I hope." The blond responded politely, dropping his hands into the water to push himself back toward Sean, blue eyes snapping back to Jillian with interest. This was the other girl Sean met? She looked nice, a bit shy, but that was alright. "Hi there, Jillian~" The blond greeted the girl from before with the same smile he gave her before.

The boy's smile causes Jillian to smile back reflexively. It soothes her nerves a little as he seems to be quite kind. She allows her feet to take her down another step into the pool, and she only half-realizes that there's only one more step before the stairs stop and she has to swim with the boys. Her amber eyes scan the pool and eventually fall on the other blond whom she recognizes as Sean, the boy she had met in the library.
"Hey," She manages to respond meekly, returning his wave.
When he refers to her as his friend, Jillian feels a wave of happiness flow through her. She'd never expected to make friends so quickly here, and he seemed so happy to see her. Her feet slip down to the next step, the last one before she has no choice but to swim with the others.
Her attention then turns to a girl with a long ponytail walking in. Jillian's anxiety spikes a little as the girl and the dark-haired boy speak with each other. She bites her lip and tries to pay attention to what they're saying, but her focus fades in and out and all she catches is the girl's name, Pepper, and the word 'party'. As Pepper takes off her clothing to reveal her swimsuit, Jillian focuses on the word 'party' and starts to worry about whether or not there would be more people showing up.
Oh, boy Jillian thinks to herself, now this trip to the pool is four times more stressful than I had anticipated. She debates in her head whether or not she should just go with it or run screaming for the hills.
Leo's kind greeting finally convinces Jillian to go for it despite the anxiety that’s making her heart flutter in her chest. She steps off the stairs and cautiously wades forward a little bit towards Sean and Leo.
"It's nice to see you again, Sean," Jillian smiles and surprises herself by uttering that sentence without stuttering.
The surprise fades as she stumbles over her next sentence addressed to Leo, “Uh, hi Leo,” She knows how awkward she must sound but she tries to keep her expression positive so no one sees how strange this situation makes her feel.

Sean made little circles in the water with his hands, he watched the little tornado's that formed and slowly faded away as he stoped the spinning. He loved the feeling of the water around him, it was if he was in space. His attention leaves the water when he noticed another girl walk into the pool room. Sean frowned as he realized he didn't know her, but she talked to Jake who was on the other side of the pool. He couldn't hear what they talked about really, only that she brought up the party to Leo.

Sean turned his head when Jillian started talking to him again. "I'm glad you're here Jillian! All my friends are in one place." He said happily as he looked around the pool. 'Wow. Sad Sean, you only have like 3 friends.' He pushed back the blond locks that threatened to fall in his face, yet again. And continued to play with the water surface.

Jake started to backstroke again, watching Pepper step nimbly into the water. "So Sean, you know this Jillian girl? She seems like your type." He teased, floating slowly past his dorm mate with hands folded under his head, squirting water into the air like a little fountain.

Pepper gracefully stepped into the chilly water, sending chills up her spine. "Oh come on Jake, don't be mean."She laughed. "Geez, sometimes I feel like I have to babysit you all the time." Pepper said, which was actually true. The girl gave a smile towards Jillian, not wanting to look rude but then turned her attention back towards the boys in the water. She didn't want to feel like the odd person out, so she might as well strike a conversation. "So Leo, how's everything been holding up in the Autumn dorm?" she waded towards a bit deeper water.

Glad she seemed at least a bit open enough to greet him, Leo's grin brightened even more. "Do you have your house placement yet?" The prefect asked the Sean's friend. He hadn't seen her in the Autumn dorm, so she had to be in another dorm. Or none at all. His head turned to Jake as he spoke up. Closing his mouth, the blond took a glance over to Sean. It was a bit early to tell. Besides, just because a boy and a girl are friends, doesn't mean they are interested in each other. However, Leo did not voice his thoughts on that matter because there was a possibility that one of them liked the other. So the angel-boy kept his mouth shut.

Pepper's voice yet again brought Leo to turn around, as it came naturally for him to look at someone as he was being addressed. Her question was harmless small talk, so is grin softened to a polite smile. "It's going fine. No one has burned down the dorm yet, so that's a plus." Leo knew his dorm was the least rule adhesive then any of the other dorms. Which meant that Leo had his work cut out for him. Not that he minded at all. It gave him a way to enforce the rules.

Sean watched as little bubbles surfaced the water as he spun his hands. His peaceful moment was interrupted when Jake made the comment. Sean's blue eyes shot towards Jake, who was swimming on his back, he knew the other autumn was going to make a sly comment about Jillian, he just didn't know when. Just like the water, little bubbles of anger swelled up in Sean, until he realized the shock of the shy girl beside him. He gave a sympathetic look towards Jillian and looked back up at Jake, "Hmph, I don't know yet." He mumbled his response so he wouldn't hurt the girls feelings, and so he wouldn't ruin anything in the future... just in case.

Seans attention was pulled back to Leo, who was having two conversations at once. Sean still didn't know Jake's friends name and hoped she would introduce herself to him later.

Jillian smiled kindly at Sean, still extremely happy that she's made a friend. A blush crept over her cheeks when she heard Jake's comment about being Sean's type. Her eyes widened a little as she looked back and forth between Sean and Jake. Her mind considered the idea for a moment but her attention is taken away by Leo's question.
"Oh, uh, I'm in the Summer dorm," Leo's kind demeanor encouraged Jillian to try continuing the conversation somewhat and she asked him, "So, you're a prefect of the, uh, Autumn Dorm, huh?"
Her attention turned back to Sean when he replied to Jake's comment. His nonchalant mumbling have Jillian strangely mixed feelings, somewhat disappointed he dismissed it quickly, but not extremely because he didn't shoot down the idea immediately. Her amber eyes glanced curiously at everyone, trying to keep up with everyone's conversations.

Jake gave a laugh, an kept on backstroking. He listened in on Pepper and Leo's conversation. Mhm, like he has that much control.

Pepper gracefully swam over to Sean. "I haven't met you before, have I?" she said cutely. "I'm Pepper, Louis's sister by the way." She was still able to touch the bottom of the pool, so she stood while fiddling with her pony tail.
