Pool Time [Open]

Hmmmm. Jake had called Barry 'freakishly' yet paid no mind to Devin's black leathery wings? This school really was weird, but it was also relieving to Devin. He may not ever mention it, but what others thought of him was a recurring thought that came to his head often. What did people think of his demon wings and tail? Do they think he would be natural mean because of them? So on, and so forth. He bothered him, it really did. He knew he shouldn't worry about what others thought, but yet he couldn't stop thinking about it. Of course, he didn't have much to add to the conversation. What would he say? So he simply let himself bob up and down in the water in silence, staring up at the ceiling of the pool room. Relaxing really was nice...

"Well nice to meet ya." He said with a goofy smile then stood up. The tall student walked away from the pool, turned around, ran back towards the pool and yelled "wahoo!", canon balling into the water. The speed and velocity he had running made a good sized wave and after a moment of sinking to the bottom he swam to the top. Jake pushed back his messed up hair from his hair revealing yet another silly grin.

Jake looked at Devin, noticing he had some bat like wings. Wow, guess I didn't see em. He was usually one scan over obvious things like that. Making himself look like a meat head. "Cool wings. My friend has wings like that." He commented bobbing above the water. He actually didn't know if the Pepper's random wings were still on her but eh. "Well, she had wings like that." He stated though it confused himself even more.

Barry didn't give what Jake said a second thought since someone could have any number of gifts that cause them to have wings. He continued to float around with Devin, not really contributing to the conversation either.

Devin blinked when Jake mentioned his wings, turning his gaze to look at him as he went on to mention that he knew somebody with wings like that...Or at least had wings like that. That startled him, causing him to frown softly in thoughts before he spoke up. "Really? What is her power?" he asked, quite curious. He wondered if the person had about the same gift as him or simply had wings like his. He supposed there were quiet a few things that could lead someone to have the same leathery wings.

"Dragon transformation. The wings were a part of some weird thing that happened to her gift." He explained to Devin, though he didn't know most of the details.

Barry nodded in the water. "Dragon transformation sounds pretty cool." he said plainly. He was still floating on his back and he had his eyes closed so he was actually about to fall asleep.

Dragon Transformation? ...Oh. Devin frowned softly, a little sad that the gift wasn't like his. Then again, he couldn't expect that this unknown person would have a similar gift. Still...It was nice to hope but he did always have Nicola and her brother with demonic-gifts...He made a note to hang out with them more. "Ah," he finally said after a few moments, crossing her arms across his lap as he returned to staring at the ceiling.  "I myself have Demonic Psychology."

Jake gave a nod agreeing to Barry's comment about it being cool. "There are pros and cons." He stated knowing what could happen with a power like Pepper's. "That sounds cool too." He turned back to Devin. After a little bit of silence Jake couldn't take it anymore. "Well this is just peachy, 3 guys and a pool. No offence, but I came here to have a blast, not float around talking about our powers." The tall student said with a lighthearted smile, running his fingers through his hair.

"Don't knock it until you try it." he joked. He swam to the edge of the pool, climbed out, and backed up to the nearest wall. Using his speed, he ran and jumped into the pool, creating waves that would wash over Jake and probably Devin. "How's that?" he asked, returning to the surface of the water.

Devin grimaced when Jake said his power sounded cool as he had no idea how much it had hurt him...But of course it had saved his life when he had been against the goatman. He shivered, doing his best not to think back on those events and couldn't agree more with Jake when he stated he wanted to talk about something different.  When he heard Barry swim toward the edge of the pool however, he froze as he glanced at his roommate before his eyes widen . Maybe now was the best time to remind him that there was a no diving rule. Of course, he didn't even have time to speak up before Barry speed toward the water and a wave crashed over him. A few moments later he broke the surface, gasping for breath as he shook his head. He attempted to glare at his roommate as he knew getting back into that peaceful bobbling was going to be hard but couldn't help but break into laughter a few moments later. "I do suppose that is one way to have a blast."

Jake floated on the wave that Barry made giving a smile. "It sure is! But you gotta do it like this." He said swimming to the pool's edge and easily jumping out of the water with his sexy af abs. He walked to the farthest wall, cracked his knuckles, and ran. 3...2...1...Jump! Jake's metal leg made clanking noises as it pounded down on the ground while he ran. The student was soon airborne in a tight ball form.

He landed with a huge splash and sunk to the bottom. Luckily he had a metal leg cause a regular leg would've broken from the force of hitting the bottom. He swam back up with a big grin on his face. "Now, that's how it's done." He looked around at the waves then to the bottom of the pool hoping he didn't make a crack on the surface.
