Round 2: Walker / O'Brien vs. Jackson / Collins

Sure enough, the second speedster dashed by in a blur of red, sending a blow towards Eliza and looping back into the maze of buildings. Felicity was not sure what her cousin thought about the battle, but it was slow moving for the most part. Was it not supposed to be fast like her first battle? Subconsciously, Felicity rubbed the welt only wincing in realization as she touched it. Eyes narrowed, she took the time to test the flexibility of her arms. Sure enough, she had a harder time raising her left shoulder--the one hit earlier. Totally not crash.

Barry skidded to a stop and turned around, dashing back into the fray as he aimed his escrima sticks towards the boy once more before dashing away. Hopefully after a couple more hits they could at least knock down their opponents down to just a single opponent and a wounded second opponent. The boy didn't seem nearly as powerful as the girl. The pink-haired girl still unnerved him, so he targeted the boy instead.

Dull green eyes narrowed as she felt the speedsters come forward one first sending a blow towards her which she took without flinching too much. Even if it did hurt like hell. Once she felt both of them were close enough she closed in the space, not letting them escape back to the back alleys once again. They were trapped in the open space. While it was still a big space, they couldn't run from Eliza's sights anymore. "Got them, they won't be leaving this big space anytime soon." It was going to wear her down to keep this dimensional box going, but it was her only option.

Something instinctual formed in his muscles as Barry came rushing back towards him. Without much thought, a bubble similar to Eliza's barrier shot up around him. Just barely. While one of his escrima sticks managed to land a blow against his arm, the other bounced off of the brunet like a ball hitting a wall. A low hiss escaped his lips, but the sound of his partner's voice broke the concentration on his pain. T-They were trapped?

For a moment he felt hopeful.

For a moment, Felicity felt like an idiot. She had not realized the barrier was but around the opponents but not around them. Eliza had put it around the open area but not the alleyways. That was what the speedster found out as soon as she ran into the wall with red hair acting like a false splatter of blood. Although, her nose was really feeling it after she backed off, throbbing to some kind of wild beat.

Irritated, the speedster rushed off again--finding her partner within a few seconds. She placed her hand on his shoulder to prevent him from going much of anywhere. "Definitely not crash, Barry. Soooo not crash." She puffed her cheeks as she spared a glance in the direction of the two opponents. "They set up a barrier. We can't get though. Though, they might not be able to get us. Which is pretty crash I guess. But we are still moded one of the less. We can't attack, but we might be able to wear them out. Barriers cannot be easy to put up, ya' know." Super speed did wonders in exchanging information, but having an actual conversation was terrible.

Barry pulled away from Felicity. He could run through the barrier. Probably. He charged off and, believe it or not, he face planted. Ladies and Gentlemen, Bartholomew fucking Jackson. As he fell backwards, he felt something very familiar about all of this. The boundaries and the girl's gift. His mind drifted back to Egypt and he realized that Eliza was somehow related to he scourge of his existence. Cadence. He was ubertriggered and just lied on the ground, waiting for the inevitable death that would come from someone with Eliza's gift.

ben was exhausted and beaten. as barry went bouncing into the barrier, nearly knocking himself out, ben's legs faltered and he fell to the ground. with an exasperated sigh, he looked at eliza.

"i think we'll let you girls handle the rest." with that he died
