| Your stage is a very dark one. There's an eerie feeling to it and without any major source of light it can almost be hard to see your opponent. Both of you may post once to ready yourselves before the fight begins.

| Brant huffed from his side of the area, his eyes narrowed as he tried to make out something; anything. Of course he had gotten stuck in a stupid dark area. He supposed it wasn't all bad; he could breath some fire to light things up but that would give him away in this eerie darkness. He sighed as he shifted his grip on the silver longsword he held in one of his hands and he also had a shield that was equipped on his other arm.
He wasn't completely sure what he knew about his opponent; but he feared that this wasn't going to go a whole lot in his favor. He was sure he had heard that his opponent...Destiny, was it? Anyways, her power was...Oh, right, Necromancy. He was fighting somebody with the gift of Necromancy in a really, really dark field. Cause this was going to be just perfect.

| Destiny looked around the dark arena that her and her enemy were put it. It sorta worked in her favor, but her power was more based on the dead than darkness so this should be interesting. Hopefully she could drag a spirit or a skeleton to help her fight but a spirit wouldn't exactly help the situation unless it took over his body but even then it would take a lot of energy and put her out of the battle quickly. She gave off a sigh, maybe if they clashed with weapons she could reach out and drain some of his energy a little at a time.
She had a hand gripped tightly on the bow staff she carried beside her. Her opponent? He could breath fire so it wasn't exactly good in a dark area for it could give away his location, but it could also work as an advantage some how. Destiny blinked her red eyes as she thought of strategies to take down her opponent

| Brant took in a deep breath. He felt his throat start to warm up as he got ready to breath fire, before he let his breath out in a stream. Fire followed; casting a light across the darken clearing. His gaze flickered as he tried to locate Destiny with the light he had created, before it went out and sent him back into the darkness.
However, that had been good enough for Brant to pinpoint where in the darkness Destiny was. He charged forward; doing his best to keep quiet as he got ready to swing with his sword. As he got closer, he let out another small breath of fire; just giving himself enough light to see her once again before letting the shadows over take his light. He turned where he was walking; trying to circle around Destiny in the darkness before he raced forward and slashed at her with his sword.

| While Brant made his movement towards her, Destiny kept her eyes closed despite the sound of fire being near her. With the lack of sight, she focused on her hearing and listened to Brant's footsteps as he made his way around her. When she heard a flurry of steps coming behind her she quickly turned and held up her bow staff to block his sword.
She took the opportunity to try using her power, she carefully focused her energy on Brant to try and drain him of his. His life energy anyway. After a quick moment she lost her focus cause of a huge pain in her head. With a flinch, she jumped away from her opponent.

| Damn it. The moment his sword clacked against her staff, he cursed to himself. So sneaking up on her hadn't worked; oh well. He did feel himself get a bit tired all the sudden, but it was nothing major as Destiny jumped away from him. He shifted his grip on his sword before he swung again; hoping to catch her before she could recover. He wasn't planning to lose...He could lose, but he wasn't planning on it at least. | |

| Destiny heard movement, and raised her staff again but it wasn't enough to block the hit fully. She let out a grunt as she felt the pain of the hit. Carefully she pushed Brant back with her staff. She decided that she could maybe coat her staff in her draining power, and attack then, but it would cause severe pain for her. She decided to try it anyway. As she used her power a pain came across in her head but she ignored it and swung her staff at Brant. | |

| Due to the fact that Destiny had been so defensive the moment before; Brant hadn't been expecting for her to swing at him. He barely saw the staff coming toward him from the shadows and raised his shield in an attempt to block, but he was to slow. The staff connected with his shoulder and he let out a gasp as he felt himself get more tired. Was she...Draining his energy or something like that? He manged to use his shield to throw the staff away from him, but the effects of the draining was already falling on him.
He stumbled sightly as he shook his head, before he took in a deep breath. If she wanted to play with fire; she was going to get burned. He let out his breath in a huff, summoning fire along with it that bellowed out at her. He was happy that this was pretty much nothing more than an illusion; as he would hate to really hurt her but he wasn't planning to go out easy anyways.

| In that second Destiny regretted the fact that she chose a bow staff for it had no defensive capabilities against fire. Quickly the girl jumped back and cover her face and took the edge of the fire. It still hurt the girl and left marks on her and her clothes. She used her staff to sorta whisk away the rest of the fire. With a bit of fire in her reds eyes the girl charged forward using the tip of her bow staff and aiming for his gut. | |

| The bad fact about the fire was that it blinded Brant due to the sudden light; causing him to winch faintly as the light flooded into his eyes. It soon faded; but now with his eyes so unused to the darkness; he failed to see Destiny coming right for him until it was to late. The tip of her bow staff connected with his gut, causing all of his air to leave as he gasped in pain.
Fire followed after his breath as he felt more energy be sucked out of him as he stumbled backwards and landed on the ground with a thud. He blinked as he moaned, but rolled over and slowly got to his feet. This wasn't good for him at all. While Destiny wasn't the best at the whole fighting; she was wearing him out quickly with that stupid staff of hers and the fact she kept draining his energy. He already felt that he knew how this battle was going to end; he wouldn't be able to fight on much longer. So, instead he took in a deep breath and raised his sword.
Letting out another burst of fire; making it as hot as he could; he let it wash over his sword and heat the metal, giving it a nice red glow. He grinned softly as he shifted his new burning hot sword, before he swung it forward again. So he most likely was going to lose; he was going to give her some nice burns before he lost...Of course, he knew she would lose them the moment he lost and the illusion came to an end, but hey, why not see what he could do first?

| With the blinding light from the next fire Destiny closed her eyes, and hadn't noticed the sword until it was to late. She yelped when the sword made contact with her shoulder and sunk in. Quickly the the white-haired girl quickly took step back and fell to the floor. With heavy breathing, she quickly stood up , and removed the sword from her shoulder letting the wound sit open. She held tightly to her staff, and fury grew in her red eyes. The necromancer ignored the pain in her head, her body and her slight blurry vision. The anger made her lose control of her power, spirits could be seen faintly, and her draining ability grew on her staff. It caused a lot of pain for her but she charged at him again, swinging her staff. | |

| Brant had smirked to himself when his attack had stuck her; and watched as she fell backwards to the ground. He stood there as he shifted his grip on his sword; making sure he was holding it tightly when Destiny stood up and charged him again. His eyes widen as he tried to lift his shield in time, but once again he missed and the staff stuck his sword-welding arm. The sharp pain of the staff striking his arm caused him to drop his sword in surprise; but with Destiny's power having increased; he doubt he would of been able to hold on to it anyways.
The suddenly drain of the energy; being much stronger than last time, took Brant by surprise and he felt himself grow really weak. He fell to his knees with a small moan, feeling all that much more tired as he shook his head. His sword lost the red-hot glow it had as Brant sat there. His green eyes flickered up to Destiny before he let out a small laugh. This was it; he couldn't do any more, she had manged to suck away all of his energy with her power. So, he let himself fall backwards onto his butt as he shook his head. "You...You win," he said with a tired sigh; wishing he could just kinda fall asleep on the spot no.. "I can' fight any longer. Stupid...Energy draining...Thing."
