| Brailynn's eyes grew wide in surprise as he caught her fist for the second time, not only that, but he was pushing against the power of her gift - and he was actually doing a really good job of it. She was utterly confused, that was until she notices the soft glow around his own grasp. Is that what he had been doing? The Spring narrowed her eyes, staring into his and pushing back against him, absorbing all of the power that she could that he used against her. Slowly, it looked as if she had been gaining ground in their little lock down.
Suddenly, he was springing into the air, wings appearing practically out of thin air behind him - and before she knew it, he was off flying out into the field, and she was stuck regaining her balance and staring his way. "Of course," she huffed, frowning. It'd be even harder to chase him down now. Did he mean to wear her out do death, she wondered. Lynn gripped at her arm, where blood was still spilling out at a slow, but steady rate; no major damage, but she didn't exactly have all the time in the world. Her body did well to remind her of that.
She muttered a tamed curse under her breath as she saw him aim another arrow her way and moved quickly for cover behind the old shrine. She couldn't do anything from that distance... Or could she?
The young woman grazed her hand over the own stone behind her, and an idea hatched in her mind. A soft glow of light appeared at her feet as she spun quickly, kicking at the base of the old idol, then again, and once more - until a large chunk of slab broke itself away from the bottom. The glow of light moves eerily up her body and to her arms as she picked up the newly made hunk of boulder on her arms. "Why don't you try this on for size?" She smiled, glancing around the shrine to address her aim for a moment before stepping out all together, throwing the stone Leo's way with a smooth, hefty swing that left her gasping a little for air.

| She destroyed the base of the shrine? How rude. Letting loose the arrow he had docked, he then dove the the side, narrowly avoiding the rock sent for him. "That god is going to be pissed you messed with his shrine." Leo remarked to his opponent in an honest fashion as he rose to his feet. Quickly thinking, he whisked out another arrow, blessing it like he did with the one before. However, he was sure this one would do more damage due to his sort of blessing by the shrine. Once he was certain the wind couldn't knock the arrow off its path, he released it, however feeling a slight drain in his powers.
Leo sent another glance at his leg and grimaced. He didn't think he could run with the leg. He'd have to rely on the wind, and his wings. Which he decided to put away at the time, as they were like giant sails, and would push him around no matter how much he tried to go against the wind. His wings would need to be much bigger. Not to mention Leo knowing how to use such large wings.

| The girl gave him a strange look as he threw his remark to her, shrugging and looking around, as if there was some God she could see maybe ready to wreck her shit for ruining his fancy carved rock. "It's not real." She called back, giving a half-amused expression before he let off another arrow at her. She went and hid for cover again behind the broken shrine. While she peaked out, she saw him dodge the chunk of earth that she'd hurled at him. She'd had to do better than that it seemed.
Brailynn broke off more of the shrine, kicking smaller pieces than before onto the ground and hiding again once the other arrow of his flew her way. It broke straight into the front of the statue, or what was left of it anyways. She peered down unto her gloves, stained with blood, and the metal studs on her knuckles still gleaming clean. The Spring winced. There had to be more that she could do. Groaning, the blonde picked up several of the smaller pieces and, like before, threw him his way, though at this point she didn't expect them to do much.
"Come on, give me a break here." She pleaded with luck, or the wind, or whatever God's little temple she just destroyed - though who probably wouldn't help her at this point if they were even real. Lynn peered over the other side of the shrine, seeing him out in the field, his wings put away. Fuck it. Yolo. She broke into a sprint, running for him again, light at her feet. Even if he ran, she'd be at his side in a moment... Hopefully.

| The girl began to sprint at him causing a raised eyebrow from Leo. She was coming in pretty fast. Deciding to shoot another holy graced arrow, he docked it, and shot it within the second. Brailynn was coming in too fast for Leo to send more than once. Aiming to get away, he opened his wings once more, as the wind was coming from where Brailynn was coming.
Unfortunately, the wind decided to change in that moment, and send Leo flying towards his opponent. Eyes wide, he whipped out his two trench knives and slipped his bow over his shoulder. With the speed that he was moving and the speed that Brailynn was moving, he had a small window to act. With narrowed eyes, he sliced with both hands in an x formation as soon as he was close enough too the girl.
He was unsure if he hit, as the wind pushed him away soon after. Right into the ground a bit aways. Almost reminding him of the first time he flew with Keirsta. Not an entirely graceful land. Putting away his wings, he grimaced at the pain in his ankle. He had used it when he landed, and the bruise began to turn an ugly shade of purple. It didn't seem like a normal sprain, and kept him from running away. His wings the only exit strategy. Damn this wind.

| Apparently her aim must've been terrible, because he didn't even seem to flinch from the new stones that she had hurled his way. That really sucked, she thought, annoyed. It didn't matter though. The Spring knew that she couldn't defeat this guy simply just throwing rocks his way. If she were going to get him, it had to be face to face. It wasn't only how she worked as a fighter, but it was also his one weakness - if she could even get him to stay still.
She had been ready for almost anything in that moment, ducking down and dodging the arrow with complete ease, for the most part anyways. Her body was starting to tire, her muscles feeling more like jelly than anything, and her head growing lighter by each passing second. 'I have to end this quick...' Brailynn thought to herself, gritting her teeth, slightly surprised when she noticed that the angel had been running straight at her, even more-so when he slipped out his pair of knives. No, she'd forgotten that he'd had those! The girl started panic a bit, rushing in with a fist aimed sharply at his jaw.
It all happened too fast for normal eyes to really see. Whilst Leo had found himself clumsily on the ground several feet away, Lynn had found herself falling forward onto her knees, gripping on her chest, a new bright stain of red shown sliced through her shirt. "Dammit, dammit..." She'd whispered to herself, blood starting to stain the grass beneath her. Tears stung in her eyes. She'd fucked up, and fucked up severely. She'd lost track of what she was doing, and soon-there-after-lost control of her power. "I'm so stupid..."

| Stop the Match! Brailynn had been about to pass out from blood loss, but her wounds were healed. All of Leo's were healed as well. Gifts returned to normal along with everything else. With that said, Leo is the winner!
Congratulations! | |
