holiday roommate date thing

The Spring girl smiled then nodded. "Nine it is." Sophia stood up on her tiptoes, and gave the boy a kiss on his cheek. She gave him a small wink then walked away from him and the infirmary, with her hands behind her back.

Logan stood there for a while. It was hard not to; he was feeling pretty good about himself. Spinning on his heel, he put his mask on with a newfound swagger, walking into the infirmary to the watchful eyes of fellow employees. He had motivation for his work, of course. He'd be counting the minutes until nine.

By the time the hour came, he'd seen more patients than usual, as predicted. The worst was the girl who could manipulate glass, or further, the drunk girl who could manipulate glass. Cuts and splinters everywhere, glass shards littered around the floor. At nine, Logan found himself sweeping the floor, the others gone, winners of an unlucky rock-paper-scissors match. It didn't matter. He was almost done anyway.

Sophia returned to the infirmary at the time she said she would. Course she had a small amount of fun before hand, and that small amount was drinking a single beer. Of course she was still perfectly fine, she could handle a few beers. She didn't really plan on drinking anymore, cause she would rather not lose her mind tonight.

Sophia pushed open the doors to the infirmary, and walked inside dressed in her goddess costume. "Hey." She said to the lone boy who was sweeping up glass off the floor. "Seems like you had a fun time already." She seemed a lot happier than earlier, and more awake too. She may have had a few cups of coffee, and a good amount of candy, before she left her dorm.

"Oh." He was very happy to see her. "Yeah, it was a blast. I was yelled at by a patient who assured my mask was unprofessional." It was currently sitting on one of the small nightstands, by the bed closest to his desk. He scooped the last bit of glass into the dust pan, and walked over behind his desk to throw it into a small recycling bin. "How about you?"

"I have had a decent evening so far. Spent most of it at my dorm drinking a good amount of coffee, then got ready and went out. I hung out with a small group of people, had a beer, then worked my way over here." Sophia explained the basis of her evening with her hands behind her back. "Now I'm here, and hanging out with a cute boy too. So it's getting better." A bright smile was on her face.

"Aah." You could hear the grin on Logan's face as he appeared from under his desk. It kept resilient as he walked over to Sophia, trying to keep it cool. Yeah, man, you can do this. If you could make a girl laugh with bad jokes, you could do anything. And now I'm here, and hanging out with a cute girl." With a slow lean in, he pressed her lips to hers, putting a hand on her lower back. But not too far. He was not going to screw this up.

The kiss kind of surprised the Spring girl, but that mean she didn't like it. She did like in fact, and was quick to return the kiss. She placed her arms on his shoulders basically showing she was okay with this whole thing, if returning the kiss didn't. This was surely going to be a fun night.

The kiss lasted a few moments, the longest kiss that Logan had ever had with a girl. Of course, the only was with this one girl in the 6th grade, and they broke up after a week and never spoke again. Why was he thinking about this? He parted from her with a smirk, his face close, his breath hot and fast. "You know, I remember seeing some beer in the back of our fridge. Plus it's more...private." It had to be from their roommates, but he was sure they wouldn't mind. He didn't care if they minded.

Sophia was breathing a bit heavy by the end of it, but that was normal from a long kiss like that one. "More beer? Sounds like a fun time." She said with a slight giggle at the end. She held a big smile on her face, going back to the door sounded more appealing then sticking around here. "Yeah let's head over there."

Logan was about to head out the door, eager to, practically faster than the electricity from that one scary nurse. But he stopped and grabbed his mask. It was Halloween, after all. He put it on as he ran out. All people would see in the pitch of night as a scarecrow man and a girl, running to the dorm rooms in the middle of the year's spookiest night.

They reached it fast, Logan thankful to have not run into any curfew guards. He had taken off the mask as he walked into the dorm with the girl. Were their roommates in? It was Halloween. He left the mask by the door and made a v-line for the fridge, and sure enough, there was beer.

"Cheers," he said, withdrawing a case.

It was hard to keep up the pace in heels, but Sophia managed to do it. She wore heels a lot cause honestly she was kind of short, so she had to learn to run in them. She kept her smile on her face the whole time. Once they reached their dorms, the girl had to take a moment to catch her breath. After a moment had passed, and her breathing returned to normal Sophia took off her heels, and tossed them aside. She looked up at Logan who held the beer, and gave him a sort of mischievous grin. "Toss me one." Hopefully their roommates weren't home.

"Here you go." He thought about actually throwing one, but thought better of it, just handing it to her, stretching across the counter. "You're looking beautiful in that, by the way." Might as well put on the moves. He was never any good at that, but thrived as the goofy underdog. He casually undid the cap of his bottle, and took a sip. And another. He excused himself, walking into his room for a moment. He checked his drawer, shoveling through it, before he found what he was looking for; a few small square packages. He smiled. Thank you, health class.

He walked back out. "Sorry 'bout that."

She undid the cap on the bottle that Logan handed her. She took a big swallow of it, the alcohol burning her throat slightly, but she didn't really care. Her feet hurt slightly from wearing the heels and running in them. When Logan said she looked beautiful in her costume she was tempted to say 'It would look better on the floor,' But she hesitated too long, and the boy had disappeared. "Oh well." She took another sip of her beer, and her smile returned when Logan returned.

Logan sat down on the couch, taking a long swig of the beer, and smiled at her. It seemed like everything was coming together. He liked this girl, liked her a lot. It was then that he had a cough, which didn't bother him, until there was another. And another. A crackle went through his breaths, exploding into longevity. Dammit! Not know! Logan raised a hand for her to stay, telling it's all right, putting a hand to his neck. A warm green light rose from his fingertips. In a few seconds, he was breathing normally, a panicked panting turned to a calm rise-and-fall.

The girl's smile turned to a frown when the boy started coughing. She had heard it before, it was the day the met in the lounge. He was in a coughing fit, and then he did the healing thing, then he was all better. When he returned to normal she was relieved, though she hoped that the mood wasn't killed between them. She walked over to the couch and sat down kind of close to him. She couldn't help but ask though if he was alright though. "You good?"
